Are these symptoms an indication of anything in particular? I get pain and an itchy feeling in glans during/after cycling.

Thanks,
J

Look for and you will find that VED use for sex with construction rings is limited to 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes sessions. This is because blood is trapped in the penis and no new oxygenated blood is supplied to the penis tissue. I see no difference in this and maintaining vacuum enough to create an erection in the VED tube for long periods of time. You will also find damage from men applying vacuum too fast and causing blood vessels to rupture...

I'm not sure why I never replied to this. Was probably scared of arguing with you or something. And I don't really want to argue now either but I must ask - when you say do a search of problems with VED use, do you mean a search of FrankTalk posts or a search of medical reports? Any links to either that are noteworthy would be appreciated because I've still never seen any.

And the study covering many years and tracking device failures, infection rates and other complications. Can men taking proper care have results with VED use post op? Yes I think they can. The question is does this increase infection rates and other complications, decrease device life, and finally does the end results differ from cycling alone. From what I understand and as I posted it seems to me that VED use post op gets men back recoverable size quicker than cycling alone. Until a proper study is done there is no way to tell if the end results will result in more recoverable size for VED use or not. Men have recovered pre op size and even more with cycling alone. And have been shown to receive larger devices with revisions years after the first implant. There may be a study in the works for this. But maybe not. The limited warranty by the device manufacturer may also need to be considered.

This is a good argument but I must ask if these 5 studies (1 the post is about, 4 mentioned by Dr. Wang) in the comment I just left are not enough proof of the safety - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26381&start=40#p256192

I still believe and have mentioned several times I do not think you are wrong here. In fact, no one can prove that you are - we all know VEDs pre-implant are great. But post, there is not yet a pyramid of medical data or anecdotal reports to their safety and efficacy. But there is quite a bit and the amount is growing. I would suppose that length and girth increases are more significant with VEDs than only with cycling. You just can't get as much expansion with so much less pressure. Another honest question - what is the main fear about potential problems I haven't seen reported anywhere? Is an infection or needing a revision that much of a disaster? Throughout my (excessive) exercises I wasn't concerned because I figured if I break anything it'll be fixed in a month or so. Is that wrong? And the results from what led to it would be worth it for me. I believe it's possibly some men who didn't even know about VEDs have an exaggerated fear of harming something they see as fragile or sacred. I did too until my late 30s and first learning this stuff is possible.

So, is any risk that hasn't been reported anywhere enough of a reason to ignore your desire for a bigger dick? (It sounds dumb however you say it, but we're men, so I know exactly what almost all of you all are thinking lol.)
