My uncle faced something similar after a surgery where he trusted that what he was feeling post-op was normal because the surgeon kept saying it was. It took nearly four years before he found out another surgery could’ve fixed his issue much earlier. When he looked into it, finding an attorney who’d take on the case so long after was tough.
