I've got a question about my pump. I'm trying to figure out how to stop it from inflating on its own. I've been trying to do a few pumping sessions to hear the sound it makes when the valve closes. This has only happened a couple of times, but usually, the pop isn't really noticeable. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I can't stop the self-inflation

Frank, I have the MS pump and I've never had it auto inflate. I have had it activate without me knowing it, probably moving around on a chair or on my bike saddle.
When you squeeze the pump to start for pumping the popping sound isn't very loud but it is distinctive, but even after I activate the pump it doesn't keep auto inflating.
To make sure that the valve is in the non - inflate position, you have to squeeze and hold the deflate button for at least 4 seconds, but when it is new maybe longer to make sure that the saline is going back in the reservoir. If I want it to deflate faster, I hold the deflate button down and squeeze my dick at the same time to totally empty the cylinders.

I'm thinking that your problem stems from the new pump not being broken in yet.

Hi Lavori17, when I deflate I always hold down the deflate button for more than 4 seconds, then I press it again and squeeze my cock to make it deflate, otherwise it doesn't deflate at all, once deflated I tried both doing nothing and giving a couple of pumps, in both procedures the system self-inflates like the titan did

Frank, after you deflate and squeeze your dick to get all the saline out of the cylinders, don't touch the pump. If you squeeze the pump bulb at all it activates the pump to fill the cylinders.

One of the other FrankTalk brothers had his inflate to 60%, I think the valve is new and it is getting stuck in the open position and during the night when he is moving around in the bed the saline tank is getting squeezed inside his body and fulling up the cylinders to a certain amount,

Keep working with the pump, to try and break it in.

Frank, hopefully you don’t have a defective pump. I would just keep working the deflate and inflate valve and see if it starts to break in and stop auto inflating.

Auto inflation can happen if the valve doesn't fully close. If you have to 'squeeze again' to get the implant to deflate, it sounds like the valve is stuck 'open' or not seating all the way closed. There should be an audible and tactile 'click' when you begin to inflate after deflation - this is the valve switching to the inflate mode. When you are ready to deflate, press and hold - fairly hard - the deflate button - you should get the buzzing - after four seconds let go and your implant should continue to deflate without holding the button.

If its not doing that, cycle it several times. There also is a reset proceedure that you may have to do.

I did it, last night I understood some things, now I went on a bike ride and I understood other things. this pump under the deflation and self-inflation plane is much better than the titan pump that you can't stop the self-inflation, its flaw "I hope at the moment" is that it recharges very slowly compared to the titan pumps, at least "the touch" and it is harder, I always hope at the moment, I made a plop both last night and now, 2 out of 2, plus you only have to press 1 time to deflate by itself until you get to 40%, then you have to squeeze your dick without pressing the deflation button to deflate it all, this allows you to press the pump and hear the famous block plop
