How long did it take from choosing the implant to surgery did it take?
Also do you get to a choose which implant?
I'm not as blessed as you in that department so worried about loss of size. Would prefer ams 700 LGX but don't think the NHS does that!

Hi Browny sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

i had my 1st visit with this doctor on Friday 13th June (usually unlucky), walked him told him i wanted a robocock he said ok wait around 6 weeks and we can see what comes up.

had my pre opp on Monday 23rd June to make sure all my bloods were ok and i was fit for surgery, and then surgery was Wednesday 2nd.

whole thing took just over 2 weeks from 1st visit.

i didnt get to choose, apart from if i wanted this one i had or the malleable penile implant.

Hope everything is working out for you so far.

Hi Mate, thanks for replying.

I've had my appointment this week and it was really good!! I played with the devices and they measured me too. I have opted to go ahead with the surgery. I asked if I could get the LGX expecting a no but surprisingly they agreed with no issues whatsoever. However they did go on to say it won't give me any extra size other than what I have. Which is absolutely fine, my only issue is losing size rather than gaining.

So they told me they will be in contact within six months but very likely sooner for the next step which is the surgery.

I even got to speak to the Surgeon, it's finally happening. I just need to prepare before than. Mentally and physically!

How's things going with you now?

Hi mate have you been told roughly how long the wait is for the operation?

By the way I think you do get the choice of Titan or AMS. There are others on her who have had an LGX at UCLH even though they predominantly do Titans.

Hi mate,
Thats what I was asking too. I was told last week that I'm suitable for the implant and the following day, the hospital called me and gave an appointment at the end of the month with a nurse who will show me the implants. Not sure how long it'll take for the surgery once I've chosen the implant, but will update as soon as I find out!!

I think that the people who got LGX at UCLH did it privately. Think LGX isn't on NHS, which I'm hoping I'm wrong!

Please do man!

Yeah I have read a few with LGX but can’t remember if they were private. I think it’d make sense to have a choice even with it being NHS. Fingers crossed for you!

Hi mate, I've posted an update on this thread if you fancy a read.

Definitely, but shitting it completely lol. Seem to be in good hands.
I'm 40, have been suffering for a very long time. I wish I knew something like this was available in my 20's. Can't even count the amount of times I had turned down sex & one night stands just because I wasn't prepared enough! So the fact that this can make all that go away seems like a dream.

I think it’s normal to be shitting it! I’ve been feeling the same the further along the process I’ve gotten. You’re definitely in the best at UCLH.

We’re at almost identical points in the journey, I need to book in seeing them to run through the models of implant! Make sure to keep us all updated with how you get on!

That's very kind of you to say. Been using a pump and ordered a penis stretcher to save some size.
I've read that some people on here have had issues with delayed ejaculation. For someone with lifelong premature ejaculation it sounds like a dream. Lol
