Most guys have some sort of detectable tubing. It rarely is something they complain about long term. I certainly can’t tell you whether you have a tubing related issue, IrishLad. But neither can anyone else here. I would rest up, recuperate, and follow up with your Uro and let them examine you rather than trying to diagnose this issue here. Odds are you’ll be just fine, but freaking out about it based on info gathered here isn’t going to help even if you do have an issue.

What is very common is some negative thoughts and “what have I done” moments in those first weeks/months. Most guys will tell you that they had at least a few of those. But the vast majority of us get over it once things settle down.

Welcome to the brotherhood, IrishLad! Even if there is an issue, you are on your way to a much better sex life. For now, rest up, you will be there soon.

Be well,
Leto

+1 x 1,000 Leto. Couldn't have said it better. A few days after being implanted is exponentially premature to be even thinking about revisions or further interventions, unless there is an infection.

Completely agree with LetoMan and LgxDownUnder.

It maybe after 3-6 months upto a year, when things start to feel normal.

Stay positive, you got this. I could never imagine that I'd be having the best sex of my life at my age.

Damn! How bad exactly is your tubing issue? Is it not really risky doing revisions to relocate tubing?

It reduces my penetrable length as it’s at the base of my penis and can also be easily felt by partners. My surgeon mentioned this type of revision is significantly less invasive than a replacement and a shorter operation. Praying it doesn’t lead to infection.

How exactly do they revise the position of those tubes? Is there any videos or literature online that show us? I'll probably need to have it done myself if I want to be fully satisfied with this thing.

Apologies if I’ve added to any anxiety — I’m simply sharing my own experience. In terms of what can be done, my surgeon explained that he can reposition the tubing further back so it sits more proximally. He also mentioned that once scar tissue forms around the tubing, it essentially becomes fixed in place and there’s very little that can be adjusted externally. The good news is that the procedure to correct it is far less invasive than the original surgery.

I see. If its easy to reposition it with a minimally invasive procedure then that's fine, I'll look into that. Did he say how long it takes for the scar tissue to fix it into position?

I wonder if it will be any less palpable when I'm fully inflated. I believe right now I am somewhat deflated.

He didn’t say. This is where my tubing is most prominent. Is this the same for you?

LGXDownunder wrote:+1 for giving it some time. The only time my tubing is noticeable is when I'm 100% erect. Similar position at 9 and 3 but it just causes the base of my dick to be girthier. It's not really visible but I can feel it when I touch it. It presents no problem whatsoever for sex and quite possibly makes it better.
There is no effect on penis length or depth of penetration, and my wife can't feel anything abnormal during PIV sex.
Body language tells me she's enjoying sex more than ever :D.

I won't mind - it - when inflated, it doesn't reduce penetrative length or feel uncomfortable for myself or my partners. But right now it is very palpable. I'll try to relax until I start cycling though.

Thanks. Yeah I'm definitely having those wtf moments. Tubing is very palpable and the girth looks much skinnier as well. Hoping all this will improve when I start cycling. I'll try to relax until then. Thanks :)

I see. Please let me know what he says when you talk to him. When will you be talking to him?

Mine are in a similar position, at a 4 and 8 o clock position or thereabouts. They are like 2 hard balls popping out the corners of the upper scrotal skin.
