Younger patient choosing implant (Eid / Titan) – concern about concealment

It sounds like you’ll need a 24-26cm Titan. If you wear tight clothing, it will be noticeable if people care to look. An implant is more rigid than natural tissue, and doesn’t expand & contract like tissue. You will be a “shower” after an implant. As an example, erect my penis is 8.25-8.5” long depending on how engorged my head is, and over 6” around. But even flaccid it’s 7.75” and over 5” around. I was warned about this, but I was still a little surprised.

If you are 7-7.2”, be prepared to be 6.5” or more when deflated, and it will show if you wear tight pants.

My issue is that my girth is pretty small. I don’t know it can handle a titan. I’m getting increasingly worried about it as surgery approaches.

I wouldn’t be too concerned. The girth can stretch more than length, and you might actually be one of the lucky ones that end up thicker after surgery. In reality with Titan the tunics will constrain the girth snd you’ll get what the tissue will allow. It shouldn’t damage anything otherwise. Coloplast does make a range with smaller diameter cylinders, but the standard ones should work fine for you unless you are super narrow. Your surgeon will know how to size you properly.

I was 55 when I got my first implant, so quit a bit older than you, but I'm very similar to you in height and weight: 6'1" and 180 pounds, and I like to dress well, and usually prefer form-fitting cuts. I have not found that my 24-cm Titan poses any special problem for concealment. True, when wearing jeans and other tight pants, I sport a bulge, but men do sport bulges in those kinds of pants, and I don’t think mine stands out as remarkable.

One caveat: it takes some time for the material in the cylinders to soften up, so during the first month or two, it is kind of like having a quarter-erection all the time. For the first several weeks, I gravitated towards looser-fitting pants, not just for concealment, but for comfort, since things were still a bit tender. But after those initial weeks, I’ve felt able to wear what I want.

Below are pics I took just now. The suit pants are flat-fronted, fairly slim-cut, but not tight.

I second this. I have a 28cm Titan, the largest size. I can conceal it in suit pants or similar more slim-cut clothes, but it does show a bulge if people care to look. I am 5 months post-op, and things have definitely softened up. The first few weeks was like sporting a semi all the time, now it feels and looks much more natural. It’s never going to be as small and comfortable as a natural dick with tissue that can shrink and expand, but it’s very easy to live with day-to-day.

I have nothing really bad to say about the Titan, it’s easy to use, works great, and sits just fine flaccid after breaking in. I never really had AMS as an option though, due to my size. As it is even with the 28cm Titan I will likely need RTEs when I have a revision.

Update:

Dr. Eid called me personally after sending an inquiry ahead of my pre op on the 30th through the message system.

He says he is willing to do the AMS all though yes he did talk shit about it. However, I was very impressed by him calling me so quickly and we will go over it at my March 30 preop. He said he will do the Ams if I decide to go that route. So that’s reassuring.

That's great news Lawrence. I don't think implants are a one size/brand fits all. I'm in Australia but have a US friend on here who also approached Dr Eid and was turned off the idea as he was only offering Coloplast. I'll let him know that he will consider doing AMS. If going with AMS in your case, being on the longer side, potentially you may need to think about the CX which has a special order 24 cm size. The LGX only goes to 21 cm max which I have, and I'm only 6.5 inches bone pressed erect. it depends on your internal size, but if going with an LGX 21 you may well need RTEs to compensate, and that can affect axial rigidity (stability).

Yeah he was concerned about me needing rear tip extenders. Question, would cx be any sort of comfort upgrade over the Titan like the lgx would definitely be…. Or is it negligible.

I think AMS is far superior implant.
About the rtes I dont know. If you have 18cm cock, consider 2 being made by the glans, so that's 16, then 24-16 that's 8 cm room for crux... so not that bad, maybe u'll need none.
