today was better than yesterday. Tomorrow will be even better. Surgery was Monday, came home Tuesday, not a lot of pain, but was uncomfortable. Today less discomfort, but its sore. I'm sure the pain meds help. Plan to have quick lunch, then get the ice pack and go to bed and rest for awhile.
Here in Rhode Island, we service that sends a nurse to your house to check up on you. She was here today, will be back on Friday. Glad she came, more than glad she will return

UPDATE

It has been two weeks today since I got the implant. A lot of progress has been made since then. It started out with a huge amount of bruising and my scrotum was literally the size of a grapefruit and a lot of pain.

Today all of the swelling is gone, most of the bruising is gone and there is still some pain, but it is going down each day. The pump is all the way down at the bottom of my scrotum. The biggest problem I have now is where to park the thing so it isn't too noticeable or uncomfortable. The doctor left it about 40% inflated when I left the hospital. I have lost length since the surgery. However it is premature to let that bother me right now. Based upon everything I have read there is some lengthening that occurs after a few months.

Even at 40% it is more than enough to have a good time. However, I will behave and wait till after the formal activation by the doctor.

One person asked me about insurance. When I turned 60 I was put on TRICARE (military). TRICARE will pay for an implant. Before that I was on Anthem and the policies they had available through work would not pay a penny towards an implant no matter the reason. I think it is sexist as hell when you consider that women will automatically get reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy.
