Lebanese,
I am glad you found a surgeon with better communication skills. However, while the issue of infection does have elements of randomness, much can be done to prevent infection and that is a topic you need to discuss with your doctor. My surgeon had me showering with Hibecleanse (an antibiotic soap) for a week prior to surgery. Five days prior to surgery he had me start taking oral antibiotics. When I got to the hospital, they gave me IV antibiotics. After surgery, he had me on IV antibiotics for twenty-four hours. Then I continued on oral antibiotics for several more days. None of this is out of reach in your country.

Re: Meeting on Friday
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.
