Atlanta has a long history of conservatism, but that is changing. A large percent of the population now comes from other places so the mix is quite dynamic. I tend to be friends with a wide range of open-minded people so I don't see the conservative thing on a day to day basis.
I grew up in Decatur

Decatur is a very happening place now and the population includes many fine, forward thinking people.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: Most Embarrassing/Awkward Implant Stories
I was in for a surgery on my Achilles tendon. I had to ask the nurse if they are going to flip me over for the surgery and she responded to the affirmative.
I actually had to remind all of the participants in the operation that I had a penile implant, so please be careful when turning me around so as not to damage the implant.
When I went under, I had my underwear on. When I came to, they were off.
This pales by comparison to some of my urology visits, but, then again, we ALL are aware of those!

It seems they would have advised you to take underwear off. They must have wanted to check out your implant!

Twice I have had full erections when being examined by my urologist (I think my penis doesn't care who is touching it; it feels good no matter who it is!). I was totally embarrassed, and I'm sure my face was beet red. My urologist didn't react at all. Thinking back, I am sure that urologists see that frequently considering (a) the part(s) of the body they are examining and (b) touching those parts, sometimes in especially erotic ways (or that's how it feels to the genitals anyway).
