Those guys that feel the tubes probably have a 0 body mass index like me. 0 fat anywhere. The tubing still does not show and is not a problem. Most guys today( Merrix excluded) have a fat pad that would bury any tubing.erik821 wrote:In reading countless posts about it on this forum about tubing my takeaway is this: It's about 65/35. Some people feel them, some do not. The ones that do in large part do not mind but some have issues with it, mostly at the base of the penis and when flaccid. I feel like whether it's a Titan or an AMS doesn't really matter, the surgeon/doc plays a huge part in regards to the tubing and if it can/cannot be felt.
It's a big issue for me so I just want as many facts and opinions as I can get. I'm not sure how I would deal with it feeling the tubes in my penis from a psychological and even physical standpoint even if meant I could be the worlds greatest porn star at any time.

I'm 5'9" tall (actually 5'8.5" tall) and 195 lb. My BMI is 29. Plenty of fat on my hips, pube, belly, and upper torso. I also feel my tubes.
The statement didn't indicate whether someone was troubled by them but only that they could or couldn't feel them.
Would I prefer to not feel them: Yes.
Does it bother me that they can be felt: Not really (see first comment).

Definitely a positive experience for me. I may be just 2 days into a revision but I said from day one.
If my implant breaks, getting it fixed asap. My revision was through no fault of my titan. I had hernia surgery and after that the titan did not work. Scheduled a repair immediately.
2 days in and having very little pain and moving around just fine.
Positive is perspective. My positive is working through the discomfort of this revision back to pumping up my penis for whatever activities I want to engage in.

I had AMS. LGX installed on Jan 13, 20. I could not be more pleased. Had PC 13 years ago. Did all the tricks. Pump, pills, and injections. None were great for me, now I have a rock hard cock that I can enjoy sex as long as I would like to. Married for 48 years. She has supported me through the painful period of ED. This was not easy for her either. We are both so very happy with our renewed sex life. I noticed Notas had a post. We had our surgery’s within days of each other. Healing was almost identical.

Excellent end results here. Wish there was less tubing underside base of penis but not a real problem. Had surprisingly easy recovery... not much pain . Wife loves it

Re: We need some success stories/positivity around here
For me, implant has been an amazing improvement over my lousy erectile dysfunctional dick. Now I am a bedroom stud, big, stron, long lasting, relaxed --- a woman's dream.
Because of an expertly done installation using peno-scrotal with no rear tip extenders, a woman cannot feel any tubes along the shafts, and I could easily have sex with a women without her knowing i had special equipment. The only thing that a one-night stand woman might pick up on is the inflation pump which is behind my balls. But in my case, detecting the pump is difficult since it is hidden far back behind the balls , and since the titan coloplast pump is smaller pump size.
So really, for me, I actually like sex while implanted much better than I did while I was natural (because the natural dick was unreliable and because I can continue thrusting even after ejaculating). The ability to truly "fuck her brains out" at any time and any place is life changing for me.
My wife would prefer that I not have to depend on my artificial dick---but that complaint is towards my original issue of severe ED. My wife did not like the idea that i did injections at all (grossed her out), and she was also against me using viagra back in the day -- because of some stupid reason that she felt the erection is a validation of her sexiness and a sign of my desire for her.
So, if you get a good surgeon, you will be super happy about the implant. Scientific papers have shown that 92% of surveryed men are satisfied. That is an amazingly high number of satisfied patients. Yes, the 8% that are unhappy do have significant problems, and we read about that every day here on franktalk.
Regarding the comments from some men here about what their wives think, it is true that scientific papers show that spouses have a 90% satisfaction rate.
The way my local urologist explained it "penile implants do have issues, but overall, they work quite well"
As a point of reference, I think I can reply: "Heck, my wife has issues, but overall, she works pretty well"

Re: We need some success stories/positivity around here
I had my revision done about 15 months ago, give or take not that important to me to have exact date, but they done a perfect job on this implant. My girth cushions any feeling of the cylinders which are LGX and I love the length. I am one happy person. The first device was also a three piece and it lasted 15 years, but it did not give me the length this new devices give.
I suggest if any man suffers from ED, to go with the LGX. You will love it if the surgeon does a good job and knows what he is doing.

Who did the revision?
That's awesome to hear and probably one of the most important things as far as I'm concerned. Everything is important but that definitely is at the top of the list. Would be a dealbreaker for me quite frankly if my surgeon couldn't be at least 90% sure I would not feel the tubing and saline reservoir. I could live with a 10% chance but that's about it. Knowing there are tubes inside your penis is one thing, easily being able to feel them (for her as well) is totally another in my opinion.

That's awesome. A lot of guys here do not report that outcome. I really don't know what causes the tubes to be obviously felt or not but there are reasons and I will find them out.
