3 weeks 2 days after infection.
Was having my pump moved after two year. Long story which I won’t go into. The pump was moved and during the revision my doc noticed one of the cylinders had degraded. He replaced the cylinder. 2 1/2 weeks later I had BAD INFECTION. What through me off and why I did not go back to the doc earlier than I did was I thought the infection would have developed sooner if I was going to get one. I have since read that week three is the most likely week for the infection to show up. I don’t know for sure that is true.
Went to the hospital same day as I saw the doc, was septic. Implant came out area was cleaned up and new implant went in, 3 weeks 2 days ago. I was in the hospital for 4 day, two weeks of picc line antibiotics and 1 week of oral antibiotics. All the swelling is down, and am cycling. I am being very careful. A total of 25cm AMS CX. Angle of my erection is different not sure about size . It looks a little shorter, 25 cm was an increase of 1 cm.
The infection replacement surgery was my 5th surgery. I believe everything is going to workout this time. So long as there is not extreme pain and it works I will be happy. I don’t regret my journey. Have a working dick makes me feel much better than when it was not working. Part of being a man.
