I tried everything. The only thing that has worked for me was the implant.
I was implanted on 4-18-2023. AMS CX. It works very well and the wife just loves it.
We now have intimacy we have lost for about 15 yesrs.
We are both in our seventies and if we can do this with satisfying sex anyone can.
I realize the surgery is a big deal, but if you were told if you do not have a procedure by your doctor bad hings were going to happen, you would likely have the surgery. This is not much different. Women have breast implants and no one thinks much of it.
This last weekend we had sex with several positions and long periods of insertion. It lasted from beginning to end almost 3 hours. She had a total of 3 orgasms. She commented that her vagina was a little sore when it was over. In hindsight I should have used more lube.
With injections, pills and VED I could have never done that.
As had been said by many that have had an implant, they commonly say , they wish they had it sooner.

I will say that the main thing that got me through along with the gym was looking forward to getting an implant. I feel like if I was working out, but impotent at the same time what would be the point?
The day I got the implant I felt a smile come on my face knowing I was on the other side of this.
The depression that comes along with ED is severe. I have a few more weeks until I can get out and about in the dating scene, but I already don’t think about impotence anymore. Before, there wasn’t an hour that didn’t go by where I thought about it.
Implants restore erections and positive mentalities.
Congrats on getting implanted. You remind me of myself during over 3 years ED where post Prostrate surgery I was barely 2 inches. I'm 8 months in Coloplast Titan and last night with the wife was a blast. First time she actually told me it feels larger. I cycle regularly and just added pumping and have some length growth. Girth continues to increase. I personally had to wait 7 weeks til I could first use it. It all takes time but I can assure you, you will be one happy man in time.

I can tell you that after I started cycling it felt like the reservoir was just below my belly button to the right. No catheter. After surgery they won't release you until you pee . I was able to pee immediately after they woke me up .
Thank you! Does it mean you can feel your reservoir somehow? Different doctors put the reservoir in different places.
I can feel and see mine. It's a small bump in my lower abdomen.
Damn, does that mean if i have a six pack the reservoir will be noticeable to plain sight?
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

No. It's really just above my pubic bone. And it's a very slight bump. You have to look closely to notice it.

WatNext wrote:The best way to describe my implant is that had i not got it, i would still be stuck in clinical depression and/or psychosis. Whilst this may sound extreme (on its own it would be) but with a spate of health issues i had in quick succession starting at 38 y/o, my mental decline was rapid and devastating. Do not doubt that the mental aspect of impotence is often far worse than the physical. Yes of course men can have sex without an erect penis, and quite satisfactory too. HOWEVER in most cases the inability to achieve an erection is extremely emasculating and will affect almost all facets of a mans life. I'm ashamed to say i couldn't get one moments peace whilst impotent. From my work, to interactions with people, my wife and kids, you name it. I'll admit that i got a fairly heavy psych diagnosis in the midst of all this which didn't help, it still doesn't take away the mental affect of impotence. Now ill shut up and post the pros and cons
PRO's
- Cures impotence permanently. No more worrying about will you get it up. No more embarrassment. Gone
- Ready to go in 30 seconds
- Massive boost in confidence and self esteem.
- You can customize your hardness for the most fussy of penis aficionados
- In most cases you'll regain your size from yesteryear
- Your girth will most likely be larger than before. From what i've read, most women prefer girth over length.
- Your flaccid penis will in most cases be longer
CON's
- Your penis now needs to be pumped up. Now, this is the mental aspect of your implant. Like anything in life it comes down to attitude. I literally beg anyone going down this path to take A LOT of time to mentally re evaluate your expectations, self image, and develop your personality. Yeah, you have an implant....so. the. fuck. what. Erectile dysfunction is EXTREMELY common. From organic reasons, alcohol and drug use, 'enlargement' misadventure, psych meds, surgeries...99% of men will experience it at some point.
The fact is you cared enough to solve this issue, and not compensate for it in an unhealthy manner. CHIN UP, OWN IT, MOVE ON WITH LIFE.
- Does not rectify glans (spongiosum) insufficiency. This is, in my mind, the biggest disappointment that newly implanted individuals will experience. Most of your penis sensation is in the glans with 4000+ nerve endings. If the dorsal nerve (extension of pudental nerve) is damaged via prostate surgery, pelvic radiation, low spinal injuries or 'enlargement' misadventure, getting an implant wont fix this. Also getting an implant may also (low risk) cause glans insufficiency. If this is the case your sensation will never match your OEM penis.
There is some silver lining though. If your implant is placed and sized properly it will assist in providing some stimulation to the glans and also help trap a little bit of blood. Penis rings, cialis, viagra, muse, trimix gel can also assist with glans engorgement
- Will not reverse dorsal/ pudental nerve damage to your penis HOWEVER and this is a big point. If you had complete impotence before hand, an implant will provide more rigidity and stretch which will highten existing nerve response.
- In some case you'll lose size, especially girth if you were 5.5"+. Size loss means nothing, you can now get hard whereas before you couldnt. MOST studies with females suggest size does not matter. Read that, and read it again... SIZE DOES NOT MATTER TO MOST FEMALES, ONLY YOU. Yes there are size queens, just like there are guys who only like big tits. So what, move onto the next chic if you come across one. Also most women want hardness which an implant will give in spades as well as girth...which again an implant will give you.
REMEMBER, you were impotent before the implant. Hardness trumps your previous impotent dick, every day.
- With most implanted men, your penis will become more oval. This is due to the corpora being pumped up without the spongiosum. If you have great spongiosum response, an implant is just about the perfect solution. For the rest of us, you just have to get used to the fact your penis will be a different shape.
- Will need revisions and quite a few if you're young
- The surgery and recovery is rough for up to 6 months.
- Requires maintenance cycling
- Expensive in some countries
- Access to high implant surgeons can be difficult depending on your location
Sorry for the wall of text but there are some common questions about an implant that keep coming up across the forum, week in, week out.
If i was to pass on 2 bits of advice only, these are what theyd be.
1. Take A LOT of time to re evaluate your expectations, outlook, and new reality of your implant. You've fixed the mechanical problem, but the mental side of it will take up to a year or more to deal with it.
2. If you used a high volume surgeon who has placed the implant properly, STOP worrying about size. Its wasted time, wont change anything, and takes time away from actually getting laid. I can't wait to use this sentence on any chic bitching about sexual imperfections
'You get what you get, and you don't get upset...'
MEN ARE NOT PUT ON THIS PLANET TO BE THE PERFECT SEX PARTNER FOR WOMEN.
I know you might want to think like that, or live like that, and good for you if you do. I just fucking hate how society is mentally screwing everyone up by projecting the need for all of us to be HIGH value men/ women. Take a look around and wonder to yourself why mental health issues are so prevalent? The Western World is literally killing ourselves to be absolutely perfect in every way, and i mean that in a literal sense. I've got 2 young, influential kids, who are bombarded with messages every day about how they should be living their lives.
People need to wake the fuck up and enjoy life. Stop worrying about what you're not and be happy, smile, take life in, be attractive to people. That'll get you laid more than the perfect cock, and youll be a lot happier for it.
Guess what? King, Queen, Joker, or Pauper... We're all going to the same place, we midas well use as much time as we can having fun rather than worrying about what Shaniqua thinks of our cock.
Hope this was helpful...
/end rant.
