I had my initial ~2 1/2 weeks post op check up yesterday. Uro said everything looks great, he's very happy with progress.
No issues with infection and the suture line looks good. Small amount of puckering along the stitches that he said will go away over time. Just keep on maintaining it clean and dry. I finished the course of antibiotics last night and no need for more. I described existing levels of discomfort and so on. He said everything that I told him is normal and he has no concerns. I asked about pulling the pump down to prevent migration. He said no, don't touch it at this stage. We will discuss all of those things at the 6 week activation appointment. I told him that I can easily locate the pump bulb, block and and button. Seemed pleased with that. Once I have an activation date, which should be in a little over 3 weeks, I'll start counting down :).

Rambling thoughts:
I'm over getting around semi erect 24x7, so uncomfortable.
Counting the days until activation, now just over 2 weeks to go. I'm so ready to start pumping, even if it hurts.
Getting used to walking around in public with a bulge in my pants. I don't even care anymore.
Still have annoying stinging along the incision line, comes and goes. Healing looks good.
Level of discomfort changes almost by the hour. Tolerable without painkillers but have occasional momentary sharp pain.
Pump plus all the tubes sitting at the base of my scrotum puts pressure internally on my ball sac, causes some discomfort.
And causes me to start playing with the new toys I've been told not to touch for another 2 weeks+.
Some numbness along the underside of my dick above the penoscrotal incision.
Sides and top of dick have normal sensation, but a little sore to touch in some places.
Around the Frenulum and glans has really good sensation, hopefully I can look forward to intense orgasms :D.
I've now found it's more comfortable to sleep naked from the waist down and let everything hang loose.

LGXDownunder, I'm 2 months post-op and most of what you're describing sounds 'normal', at least as normal as this kind of thing can be :) I've read lots of posts here with members being told by their Dr's to pull down on the pump at 3 days or so to keep it from 'migrating up', and, to avoid adhesion. The bottom of my pump also sat at the bottom of my scrotum and very unfortunately became adhered :(

"Pump stuck to scrotum ?" https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26234

I'm probably over-sensitive about this because of my experience - but you might want to verify with your Dr that the pump shouldn't be moved around at all.

Hi Chuck, thank you. Yes, the "new" normal :). I have read most of your journal, that's a decent sized CX you have. You're about 4 weeks ahead of me, it's good to compare notes. My experience looks to be following a similar pattern. I visited my surgeon last week and I asked him specifically about pulling the pump down to avoid migration. He was insistent that he doesn't want me doing anything at all with it until he activates me. Thankfully that's only a couple more weeks. I do move the pump around when it gets uncomfortable, and I have also tried pulling the scrotal skin away from it. So far it doesn't feel like it's stuck to anything and it definitely hasn't migrated anywhere. I've noticed also that all of that stuff is quite heavy when you lift it up . I told my Dr that I have played around with it and can locate the pump bulb, button, tubes etc. He was OK with me doing that much. I suspect that everyone plays with their junk post op once past the initial trauma, and there's no point trying to stop us completely :). I'm being good but I really just want to squeeze that bulb and see what happens .

LGXDownunder, sounds like we're in the same cohort ! Glad you're not having issues with adhesion. Good to follow doc's orders. The 2 weeks will go by fast - let us know how cycling goes.
