For whatever it's worth Perito taught me to very deeply press into and massage the fat pad. I dug in til it hurt and massaged in 5 minute increments. He told me it would help healing the scar and reducing inflammation. I was persistent and hated doing it but it did work. He told me that if I didn't do it that the fat pad would remain and my implant would appear shorter. He was right. If you do it do it til it hurts so this way you know that you are breaking up any scar tissue.I don't see anyone posting about this method.

Thank you for this. I had watched a lot of Dr Perito's vids and this is the first I've heard of this. It seems logical. Given that only my glans has been protruding from the now quite swollen fat pad (pudenda?) I feel I'm gonna need all the space I can get in front of my pubic bone.
As of this morning, Day 8, a little of the shaft has begun to show, and I can now feel separate shapes inside my scrotum. (No, I haven't started squeezing anything yet!) Incremental decrease of the aching has also continued. Still moving gingerly, but starting to feel more normal. Trying to be cautious, and avoid setbacks.

Good to hear. You'll be up and about in no time. Lots of patience. You will see.

What a difference a week makes…
Day 12 post surgery. A week ago I was sore, achey and swollen to the point that only my glans protruded from my ball sac. I called out of my return to work. The entire area ached, with pain spiking as I got up, sat down, or had clothing press too tightly. I could not imagine being touched, much less thrusting anything toward a partner.

As of today, I am no longer hurting every time I move. The pain and soreness has continued it’s gradual move downward. The swelling has backed down to reveal close to an inch of shaft. The discoloration is also receding. I can now handle my ball sac, albeit gingerly, and I’ve located the pump assembly. (Hell no, I haven’t squozen anything.) I ‘ve noticed I have erotic feeling in the area. I feel some hardness in the fat pad around the shaft, which I’m presuming is scarring and/or swelling. I’ve begun to massage that. One of my “snake eyes” has disappeared.

I’ve now received the op report. Interesting to read about. My length is 21.5 cm, with 10cm proximal and 11.5 cm distal. I have a 21cm AMS 700 CX with .5cm RTE. I assume he chose the CX because I have more outside than inside. I’m certainly going to ask my surgeon about that tomorrow, when I go to my follow up. I can’t wait.

20 days after the operation I am using artrosilene gel, use it by spreading a small part where you feel the discomfort, you will see that your day will be better, once a day, you spread it and after half an hour you can put on your boxers and clothes, you will feel better

I did have problems with glans pain when fully inflated for around 6 months. It took that long before I could go an hour without pain and discomfort the last few minutes of an hour fully inflated. When I first started cycling the implant at 6 weeks, I could barely get to 20 minutes without a lot of pain in my glans.

I lost my wife to Covid almost 4 years ago. I have a girlfriend of almost 2 years now. During this time we have developed a vibrant intimate life, finding ways to please each other. It is at this point close to the best sexual relationship of my life. Along with pumping it has helped me alleviate a lot of the atrophy of the past 16 or so years of inactivity. Sworks, since you have the LGX, did you notice a lot of growth over the months post op? I wonder to which extent the LGX expansion makes a difference or not. I do not really trust manufacturer-sponsored studies so i am curious what real users experience.

Wow! Suchadmed, 16 years, it's gonna feel good to be back in the saddle again. I'll tell you Such, that after I was cleared at 6 weeks to have sex, I was still sore, tender and numb, so we waited till week 8, I pumped up ahead of time to be ready and before we starting foreplay I was already hurting from being pumped up for more than 20 minutes. We did have PIV sex, but it wasn't great because I wasn't sure I was pumped up enough, I had sensitivity problems and I had a good bit of pain by the time I came, but I wasn't able to get my wife to orgasm. My dick hurt for a full day afterward. I emailed my doc, because I thought I had broke my dick but he said I over did it and just to take baby steps.
Sex got better every week; some guys just take longer to heal and I was one of them. If you are experiencing discomfort after being pumped to the max for over 20 minutes, make sure you take some tylenol for pain before sex.

Discover, I've had my LGX for a little over 3 years now. Yes, I would say the first 6 months I did see growth, but only back to my original length and girth. To be honest Discover, I think that because the LGX does expand 25% in length, I could be oversized a little. My internal measurements are 10cm proximal and 11cm distal, for a total of 21cm. My doc and the Boston Scientific Rep put the 18cm LGX and 3cm rear tip extenders, which is 21cm, but the LGX expands 25% more. When I started cycling at 6 weeks, it took 6 months before I could get to 1 hour without discomfort and pain in my glans. At over 3 years with the implant I can go 1.5 hours without any discomfort. I was supposed to have gotten the CX implant. My military doc said that was his go to implant, but during surgery they made a game time decision to go with the LGX. When I inflate 25 pumps, I'm pretty sure that is 90% and I can stay at that level for more than 3 hours, after a few minutes at that level with additional tissue stretching, I can get in 5 or 6 more pumps which makes it steel rod hard, but I can only handle that max inflation for 1.5 hours. My wife likes it to be super hard, so I definitely want to make her happy
If my LGX breaks down the road, I'm gonna ask for a CX because it is stiffer and it has more girth.
