Whaaa wha wha, Eeyore! Grow the freak up. You have got to be one of the biggest immature whiners I’ve ever come across in all of my many years on the net. No more attention or time wasted on you!

So don't pay attention then

before he could try out his implant with a girl, he would first have to say hello to a potential fuck Buddy .
that is most likely his problem .
Meeting AND then TALKING to a female .
so his negative advice for all interested in a implant to just give up and die.
boo hoooo .

Where would you suggest I go take my wooden dick to talk to a female?

Should I talk to the bar girls in the pinay go-go bars?

We need to be much more considerate of Mark's situation.

He's quite understandably in a lot of emotional pain—and probably some physical discomfort as well, based on what I understand of what he's shared. He’s alone. He doesn’t have anyone to vent his frustrations to. This is the place for him to do that. I understand that you may disagree with his approach; you may be annoyed with him, or be appalled somehow that his experience is different than your own. But Mark’s current circumstances are his reality.

And, we all risked being in his situation, or even one that was far, far worse. Infection takes no prisoners. When I sat in my surgeon’s office with a clipboard explaining all the potential adverse outcomes of the implant surgery, one of them was “Potential Loss of Penis (Castration).” Bad things do happen. Not to everyone. Not to even a sizable minority of patients. But they do happen.

For those of us who are so lucky as to be pain free, to be even reasonably satisfied with our IPPs and MPPs, to be free of complications whether physical, psychological, or psychosomatic: be glad for it. There's a real element of luck involved in any surgical procedure, whether that's getting a cavity filled at the dentist's office, getting a penile implant, or having a coronary bypass surgery. There’s enormous complexity in surgery, even in our modern era. Even for supposedly routine surgeries.

There is a lot of cheerleading on this forum. And not without reason. My implant has changed my life for the better. I’m so grateful for the technology, the advanced surgical techniques, the use of advanced antibiotics. I’m confident that my surgeon did everything in his power to help me. And six months in, my life is changed for the better, and hopefully for the very long term.

I am one of those cheerleaders. But I also try to be a rational one. The implant is a major commitment, a major life decision. It’s not a trivial decision. It’s one that, in all candor, requires quite a bit of bravery and risk tolerance. Especially in cases like mine and Mark’s—we paid out of pocket for the procedure. Revisions are also paid out of pocket. I’m counting down the days until Open Enrollment on November 1st here in the U.S. so I can change my insurance to cover potential implant revisions.

Mark’s experience is much different than your own. Do not castigate him for expressing his well-justified anger and frustration. Mark’s story is an important data point in the vast library of stories on this website. His anger and frustration are valuable for people doing everything in their power to perform due diligence for this major life decision. Instead of reprimanding Mark, hear him out. It’s your choice to reply. If you have nothing constructive to offer in the way of discussion or questions, it’s no loss to you to simply ignore him.

hhmmm , i was alone when i had my implant ,technically . for one year . i went from the Philippines to india alone and back ,and recovered on my own . No one to hold my hand . i didn't need it . his experience is the same as mine . his dick wasn't working on demand ,so he got a malleable . that's what i did . The difference is, i didn't say i feel like i was turned into a pussy . etc etc
i had no such problems , i did on the other hand ,go bang 4 different chicks over that time , and chase others . and enjoyed it . 2 were fwb's who kept coming back for more .
i have to say realistically ,marks problem is his personality . Maybe due to physical issues ,;ike lack of testosterone , Depression ? Or just a bad attitude. but blaming an implant is not going to change his current state of mind . or help others .
i think this is a case of severe over acting drama episode.
for fock sake , a malleable is just about bullet proof .
and i like pulling my dick up and sleeping on it . it feels good to have a hard on whenever i need one .
oh ,and i had a motorcycle accident where i snapped my lower leg , i landed on my stomach , and the motorcycle on top of me .And the malleable implant came out unscathed . its still going strong .

With the best juicy porn+sex toys or passionate hookups or hot escorts or sexy partners and assuming no complications like repeated infections or frequent breakdowns or heavy fibrosis or erosion or chronic pain, the implant can feel like the greatest gift of biomedical science.

Without the above genital and/or self esteem stimulation tools, the implant will feel like an unnecessary burden as the cost benefit ratio may not add up. I fully respect Mark's position for his personality and his cost benefit ratio.

This I can also endorse with confidence. I haven't been able to have sex for most of my adult life, from 20 to 34. I feel like I've been given the gift of a second life.

Don't any of you guys miss when you squeeze your glans and feel the blood in your corpus cavernosa?
