Besides making the implant a bit more comfortable when it’s deflated (I have a large implant) my biggest feature request would be to increase durability. I’m 32 and so I lament the possibility of having to go through surgery many times over the course of my life.
Last time I talked with my urologist we discussed the possibility that the two main manufacturers were less interested in improving durability and reliability because that might mean fewer devices being sold. I’m hoping that competition is healthy enough to prevent this. But it does seem that based on my conversations with my urologist that the companies are focused on a remote activation/pumpless design over the core product and its reliability. Having the ability to remotely activate the device from my phone for example would be nice but I think I’d actually prefer a device that lasts 2x as long.
