So true! Does MPP surgical procedure cost less than IPP in Egypt? I was thinking the cost difference is almost the same.

It costed me 3150 USD
While in the same time on July 2022 the IPP would cost me around 21000 USD

Hi Mbambo! i am considering Ghattas for a revision, i wanted to ask you how was your experience with him? would you recommend him or not?

Hey, forgot to ask. What did Dr. Osama Shaeer suggest for your situation?

Given your experience so far, would you still recommend Dr. Karaman?

Are you planning for a Genesis next or continuing with your Rigicon?

Whats your plan?

Thanks for asking. My partner was advised to undergo a kidney transplant, and our minds are occupied with that and trips to dialysis machines. All plans are on hold at the moment.

If nothing is stopping us, this is my goal:

Plan A: I have a visa for India valid for 8 more months from my previous business trip. I have scheduled a virtual appointment with a high-volume surgeon in India regarding a malleable, and I plan to proceed with that option and be done with it.

Plan B: If my new insurance plan in 2025 covers an IPP, I intend to visit Dr. Hakky for a Titan.

Plan C: In the event I experience a revision within 10 years (and I will for sure), I will go for a malleable. If it lasts more than 10 years, I will get the IPP again.

Why Is malleable your first choice? Cost issues or is there another reason? If money was not an issue would you still choose a malleable?

Why is the malleable implant your first choice? Is it because of cost, or are there other reasons?

Cost and insurance coverage are my main reasons.By cost and insurance coverage, I mean the cost for the potential of multiple revisions. I would rather spend that money on cruise vacations with a malleable bulge. Otherwise, paying $22K out of pocket is not an issue for me.

If money was not an issue, would you still opt for a malleable?

If money or insurance coverage for multiple revisions was not an issue, I would definitely get an inflatable and switch to a malleable if my first mechanical/hydraulic failure happens within 10 years.
