What happens is that at the beginning the Titan simply isn't expanding all the way. This is why guys report a slight pain at the glans of their penis. This is the implant trying to expand in length. Overtime, the traction on the penis allows the implant to fully expand.
There was a guy here that was slightly oversized by Eid and was being a bit of a wuss about the pain in the tip. This can be easily fixed by a bit of manual traction. The reason i don't like complaints like that is because it discourages doctor to do the slight oversize.
I know that was the case for me. In my journal I mentioned a minor pain in the tips. A poster pointed out as you did that that could be a good thing. I didn't gain much, but really didn't need to but I gained around a CM.
Judging by these observations, I think a non growing implant like a CX or Titan should press on the glans tip. If there is/are kinks in the cylinders things could be different, but wouldn't that be easy to ascertain?
