When my scrotum is retracted it's not too noticeable but when relaxed it's poking out at a 45 degree angle. I've been laying off cycling for a few days to give it a chance to heal. My wife is working with me now after I was able to cycle to 6" x 5.5" (which hurts but I guess I'll get used to it) and added a Levitra. I resembled my original cock and finally rang her bell. I still can't orgasm unless I help myself to the trigger point and then finish with her. I was scheduled for a revision of the tubing yesterday but put it off until I can travel to NYC to see Dr Eid or Houston to see Dr Clavell who thinks he can fix it prettily easily for me. I cancelled with my VA surgeon Dr Guise because she wanted to open the transverse incision again and I'd have to spend another 6 - 8 weeks recovering during the spring and summer. Dr Eid stressed the need for going to a surgeon who specializes in implants because getting it right the first time is paramount.

Did the protruding tubing finally get fixed? Is there a need to open the incision? My doctor here says no need to do anything. But the protrusion is getting more and more pronounced as time passes.

Day 20 Update

To provide an update,

I've been practicing on how to deflate and inflate in the shower & tub. I can pump up easily but deflating is very tricky. It is still hard to find the deflate tabs at times and I can't determine if I'm fully deflated or not. I end up with a 4pm semi.

How do you guys deflate your titan touch? Do you have to hold the tabs for a while?

Am curious. As I recall, the touch has a larger ball, more noticeable. Why did you get the touch instead of the regular? My preference (as I have read) is to get the regular titan.

No, I'm living with it until I can see if Medicare or the VA will pay for me to see Dr Eid, Clavelle or Perito. I plan on getting it fixed in January 2023. I don't want to spend the next nice months recovering from another operation. First one was tough and took a long time to heal. The pain is from the irritated skin around the kinked tubing. Feels like it's on the inside.
Thanks

Revisions, especially ones that do not involve removing the implant's inflatable tubes or reservoir (only involving the pump or tubing in the scrotum) are generally a LOT quicker to recover from than virgin implants. Even total revision/replacements are easier on the patient.

When I was researching getting the VA to send me to Dr Kramer or Dr Eid (I am enrolled in the Alaska VA), I was told the VA would not pay for travel, but if I enrolled in the Maryland VA I could see Dr Kramer. (I do not know if his new practice is in the VA system or not, but his University of Maryland practice was.). I also found that Dr Eid was available in the VA system, so he was a potential choice. Getting the Maryland VA to take my local urologist's evaluation was problematic. Red tape.

So, you might want to discuss the option of your local surgeon doing the revision rather than waiting. If you do choose to go with Eid, Clavelle or Perito, start getting your preparation work in place. Cutting through the red tape of authorizations will be long slog. Conduct it as you would a military campaign.

When you talk with anyone, take notes, remember their names (people love to be remembered) and than everyone (even if they were not helpful - they did give you their time and they may remember you with more kindness the next time you speak). This worked for me when a travel nurse who was not helpful earlier in my quest remembered me and called me up when she heard of a surgeon recently assigned who had actually taught the procedure.

3 Week Update

After 24 hours of travelling from the United States I have finally made it back home to Australia. It feels good to be back home.

The flights were pretty gruelling but I pretty much made sure I deflated as much as possible, my penis would end up around 4pm - 4:30pm angle and was still sort of semi erect because of body fluids/swelling. I wore baggy pants and a baggy shirt to hide my bulge. I made sure not to put much pressure on my flaccid penis but there was discomfort at times walking through airport customs, gates, terminals etc...

Overall very happy with my decision to travel to the US to see Dr Clavell. I highly recommend everyone to go and see Dr Clavell if you have Peyronie's Disease or Erectile Dysfunction. He was very understanding of my concerns and made sure to address them before surgery and after surgery. He also provided me with his WhatsApp number after surgery and allowed me to contact him whenever. The surgery cost for a penile implant with Dr Clavell is 20k USD and there may be additional costs if he needs to do additional work such as plication, grafting or penile reconstruction.

Looking forward to the road ahead.

I did a telemedicine visit with him from Milwaukee and he was great to talk to. He's in network for me on my Medicare Plan and I'm figuring Houston in January 23 for a visit if I get thru all of my other medical b.s. lol. Thanks for the info. Hope to make it to Oz one of these days.

You're in good hands with Dr Clavell. He will be able to fix your tubing issue and allow you to move on with your life.

I asked him to place the pump posteriorly and make his corporal incisions as deep as possible in the crus which would allow him to bury my tubing. I still feel some tubing when I lye down on the bed but this is due to my scrotum being very loose and it doesn't bother me.

If I was you I would try to see if he can place your tubing & pump like Dr Eid does in this video from 7:00 to 9:04
