Having never had an IPP implant I can't compare. I have a Rigicon malleable the one I presently have is a replacement 6-2024 for the one that was implanted 6-2023 that was undersized and started having issues 2-2024. I can say my first one bent easy and was pretty easy to hide. This new one is supposed to be the same brand just longer and it does not hardly bend at all. In a few more months I will be going back to the dr. for an explanation of why there is so much difference. I'm assuming possibly different batches of implants may be slightly different and it is taking more time to get the hinge to loosen up on his one. I have a fat pad and an old man's belly and have no issues hiding the last one or not too much the present one. I live in Fl and wear jean shorts almost all the time. The Rigicon has a lifetime warranty and it's possible doing one in your 40's that you would be well in your 60's before you need to replace it or never.

Sorry for my bad english

I'm in Tokyo. Went to around 10 hospitals here, and there is only one surgeon in Japan who does implants. I met the man (he's at a small hospital in the West side, recall his name Nagano or something that begins with an N) and after speaking to him, I was completely unimpressed. He charged much more than costs in the USA. Also, he uses AMS only. I'm uninterested in malleable. He also I believe has a clinic in Ginza.

Read that India can be unclean, and has higher rates of possible infection. I know that Thailand has everything, and they purportedly do excellent work.
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

I agree on the India being unclean part I was hospitalised after the surgery and that cost me like 5-6K usd so I didn’t save any money at all should have just paid more and gone to turkey Malleable’s are super low chance of infection I don’t know what standard of cleanliness they have here

May i ask dif you try any different treatment before getting an implant in Tokyo. In Japan there is a much lack of information about ED and treatment

Yeah bro I don’t know about Japan but in Singapore the docs just try to sell you bunch of treatments it’s a huge money maker for them , like P shot and PRP and fucking vacuum devices, look as Dr Perito says P shot is experimental and most men don’t want vacuum devices they’re clunky

We are often told that our odds of infection depend on the surgical team’s adherence to infection control protocols and the patient's comorbidities at baseline.

The surgeon we choose seems to play a more critical role than the geographic location.

Even with these measures, a 0.5% infection rate remains inevitable, even in Dr. Eid’s practice in New York City.

-Adherence to Dr. Eid’s "no-touch" technique
-Copious antibiotic irrigation during surgery
-Use of factory-coated devices
-Soaking implants in antibiotics
-Administering antibiotics before and after surgery
-Controlling blood sugars
-Avoiding smoking
-Antiseptic skin scrubbing protocol
-Revision or virgin implant (for biofilms)
-Surgeon’s experience (technique speed+efficiency leading to less time spent in OR)
-Unnecessary steroid use

I’m also concerned about entering a new environment where our immune systems aren’t accustomed to local conditions. If they’re overwhelmed by too many battles, they may become less effective in the penile area.

Japan is extremely limited on ED. Hospitals give almost nothing other than the standard answers. They also do not test for Venous leakage, something standard in the US. Also zero on TRT, HRT, testosterone treatment. Of course you can get pills (Viagra, Cialis) and I finally found one doctor who offered shots.

If you want to see the doctor who does the implants, PM me. I'm pretty certain it's still in my notes somewhere. When I visited him, only asked about the inflatable, not malleable. He was extremely expensive, and national health insurance does not pay for it -- IMO not worth it.

Japan is way way behind in this field, unfortunately. And don't get me wrong, overall I really like the healthcare here.
