Wow, start cycling so quick after the surgery?

My doc told me wait for 6 weeks and as a matter of fact it wasn´t until week 5 when I was able to feel my release button and manage to push it, due to swollen layers and scrotum.

What is the sense of cycling so quick? Regaining size better?

Hakky is more aggressive than some other surgeons like Clavell. He wants to get things going ASAP, get the surgical capsules forming, etc. Clavell prefers to let everything heal and settle a good bit before proceeding. Just different approaches, neither right or wrong IMO. I’m sure cycling will be painful at first, but because of the approach Hakky takes with a surgical drain, I can say there has been almost no swelling, my dick and balls looks almost the same as before, and with no real pain.

Here’s what it looks like with the wrap off, 30% inflation according to Dr. Hakky. Looks very similar to the original. Maybe a slight loss of girth and a hair in length, but again nowhere near max inflation and super early in the stretching process.

The tips are toward the bottom of the glans, and my glans is canted slightly upward from before. Hakky assures me they will seat better at max inflation.

The real amazing part is look at the scrotum. Pretty much no swelling and I’m in almost no pain. I can easily play with my scrotum and can palpate the pump just behind my balls. This surgery is pretty brutal and I was steeled for anything…except an easy recovery! I think only GoodWood has had a recovery this pain and swelling free so early in the process. So far I feel quite blessed by the bionic gods.

Looks good! I am exactly one month behind you, also with Hakky. So any inside tips are appreciated. How long is it before you can start exercising, and please don’t say six weeks.

Six weeks. Sorry. You’re in your 50s, six weeks is just a moment in time at our ages!

Well, I spoke too soon apparently! The Exparel injections must have started wearing off last night, as I was suddenly in more pain. Not crazy but noticeable. The primary pain site is above and to the right of the penis, where the reservoir was placed.

Dr. Hakky waned me I would have pain there, because I’m slender and the reservoir kept trying to slide upwards and present a noticeable bulge. To prevent that he added a figure-8 hernia repair-type suture to hold the reservoir in place. Now that the block has worn off that area is quite tender. I don’t see any bruising, bulging, or swelling, so I assume the sutures are still in place.

So I guess I’m entering the “WTF did I do to myself” phase of recovery. I knew to expect that going in so I just have to work through it. Today is Thursday and I don’t have to do much like pulling the pump down until Saturday, so I have two days to mostly just rest.

Don’t go overboard Lol , it’s going to be great, its all ready looking very impressive! And its just unwrapped. I am slender too and had to have revision surgery to put the reservore deeper into my abdomen.
There are pictures on here somewhere, anyway you are early in the game, next dr opt, discuss the issue. Relax, Ice ,

Elbowroom: The date of surgery in your signature should be in October versus November.

You are looking way better than I did so soon after surgery. I turned all shades of yellow, pink, purple, blue and black. I had a lot of swelling too. And my ballsack was huge.

Titan 28 cm should maintain and possibly increase your size.

Thanks for the support guys. I’m not too down, just realize it’s not going to be the cakewalk it first seemed. I knew going in it would be a case of highs and lows until I heal fully, and that could be months.

Taking it one day and one task at a time.

just relax and take it easy, don't expect no pain in the recovery, mostly, there is alway pain, some guys have less pain, some others more.
Be happy, you don't have hematomas or swelling.

Thanks my brother from Oz, it’s good to have finally pulled the trigger and joined the club!

I’m glad my experiences are lining up with yours, I know you had a great result so it makes me feel I’m on the right track.

I have a portable wide-mouth urinal I have been using, but the last couple of times I tried standing and angling my hips to point my member in the right direction over the toilet. It works, but is logistically challenging as I have to juggle the surgical drain and hold a piece of tissue under the urethra so I don’t dribble onto my bandages. I have “progressed” to it feeling like I’m pissing razor blades, so I guess feeling is beginning to return.

The hospital gave us some reusable ice bags that have a terry cloth exterior, I’ll see if those work any better for getting the cold where it needs to be.

Dr. hakky had me on a clear liquid diet the day before surgery and I only ate one meal today, so I haven’t had to shit yet. With this thing poking up I can already tell it will be hilariously annoying.

You will be fine. Going by your pics everything looks fantastic! Of all the post implant photos I've seen yours are the only ones that don't look like a train wreck. He did a great job. Apart from the incisions no could tell you have an implant or even had surgery. Even the penoscrotal incision looks neat. The WTF stage goes on for a bit, but wears off before too long in my experience. Keep thinking about what you will be able to do when further recovered .
