It will always kind point out, especially at a urinal. I just smile and enjoy the admiration. That itching is horrible. I used aloe vera at night and baby powder when at work. So glad you are doing well. My urologist never told me how to wear that miserable stiffie he left me with. Driving home, I released 'him' and covered with a towel. PM anytime.

That is a good idea about the Aloe Vera, Doctor told me to stay away for baby powder until the 6 week mark. That will be Sunday

Did he say why to stay away from baby powder? I have a friend who swears by Medicated Gold Bond powder for broken-skin rash. But I don't know in an incision (vs leftover irritation from shaving) requires different cautions.

I was infrapubic. Powder got no where near the incision. Sure helped with itching though.

I don't know what the deal is with this baby powder. He said after 6 weeks i can use it. I see commercials on TV from lawyers wanting to file law suits for people that used it and got cancer.

That's right you could use it with no problem. Scrotal is tough in the summer if you are out in the heat. I will be using my powder next week

Two weeks and one day out from implant. The past two days I drove three hours each day to help one of my sons move. Three or four trips from old house to new one each day in my cargo van. No problems with that much time on the road. My wife was along and strictly enforced the "nothing heavier than a gallon of milk" lifting rule on me. Consequently, I sat around in between trips watching the other 4 there do all the lifting and loading. I kind of liked only having to provide the truck and none of the labor!

I tried to find a thread I read awhile back where someone asked if you can feel the implant inside you. I'm very much reminded constantly it's there. My body has yet to adjust to its new passenger. Completely off the pain meds now as of yesterday. Only left with the nagging discomfort of the partial woodie for over two weeks now. I can handle it though. Had a bit of a problem putting socks on this morning. I've been wearing flip flops since leaving the hospital after surgery. Wanted to wear a new pair of boots today since it's been raining here. Bending over to pull the socks on was a bit of a stretch and I definitely knew some new equipment was on board. I completely managed though. I dropped a sock on the floor and found stooping to pick it up was weird. Had to drop to one knee to accomplish it.

I've experimented with deflating myself a bit. Twice now I've gotten the "buzz" but I don't accomplish much of an emptying. Trying to inflate again I get one squeeze of the bulb to squish it completely and it's immediately hard again and can't be pumped further no matter what. I'm obviously not doing something right beside the obvious early experimenting. All in all, I'm pleased with my progress though and see the end in sight.

Great to hear your doing so well. We seem to be advancing at about the same rate. I went to work Monday 3 hours yesterday I made it till noon today 2;00. Putting on socks and tying shoes is a bitch. Things don't want to bend that way. I also am very aware of new equipment and my body hadn't given in to it just yet but everyday a little less protesting. The pump still feels like a bowling ball in my sack. I need to readjust how to get out of a car. The nut drag is really annoying . I found the greatest thing UFM underwear for men. This is the greatest stuff. It has a draw string around your junk. You pull the string as tight as you want. It pulls your balls up to just the right tension. It doesn't pull tight on your Woody. This stuff is a must have. No I don't work for the company. I haven't tried operating mine yet. I see the doc Monday we'll see what he says. I do expect a race to see who gets to use it first.

Davidkell Jerryf, your mention of difficulties with socks brought up this questiion t
for you and others. What peercentage inflation can you easily go out in public without attracting attention to your implant?

I ask because post-op, I expect to need to be back at (a sedentary job) work rather quickly and want to know how easy it will be to stash my partially erect penis. In other words, which factor governs the timing of return to work, pain level or ability to conceal the post-op inflation?

Of course, this depends on the degree of post-op inflation which may be as high as 80%, i am told. But I may be able to make a suggestion to my surgeon when the time comes.

Lost Sheep,
The pain usually decreases significantly by week 2. Concealing that stiffie can be a problem. Fortunately a larger size pants and a long shirt does quiet well even if it's not the latest fashion. Constant adjustment is required and when your hair starts growing back the itching is agonizing. But everything you endure is worth the final result.A hard stiff dick on demand!

Lost sheep. I thought the same thing I'll be back in the office after a week. That didn't happen. The pain level will govern when you make it back in. As for hiding the Woody. I was never a big guy so it's not terribly noticeable with loose clothes. The pain will let you know when it's time. Two weeks and you'll be climbing the walls enough to get back to work at least half days. Best of luck.
