Hey Tmansdorfer , Swing down 138 through the Antelope Valley on your way. The wildflowers are spectacular. It is not much out of your way. Good Luck.

Tman,
What did the Doc say? Was he s surprised as we were?

My follow up yesterday went almost exactly like I thought it would. In the beginning when he first pumped it up he tried to say that the tips were positioned where they where supposed to be and that the problem was that the glands where too small and that was why they were not in them. He tried to say that I needed that procedure where they attach the head to the tips. I told him I didn’t want that because that would leave me with a 3 inch dick and that wasn’t the problem. I showed him that when I pushed the glands down into the tips they go in just fine and the problem is it’s too short. He then agreed a longer implant would help but never admitted that he screwed up. The depressing thing is he told me he couldn’t do anything until the 6 month mark due to infection risk. He told me to email him in June to talk about a revision. I have the flue and wasn’t feeing very good during the visit and I forgot to ask several questions about the surgery Rhat I wanted to. I don’t really know how to feel right now.

That is bullshit! Dr Boyd was going to replace mine at 3 months. He had me a surgery date. I went to my GP for pre surgery check. He questioned Boyds decision and we went to general surgery to have the problem further investigated. It turned out to be a hernia that was radiating pain down my groin to the left testicle and pump area.
IF,, you want to return to USC, email gerhard.Fuchs@med.usc.edu . Tell him to read this entire post. He is quality control guy. Again, I would ask if Dr Boyd would come in and fix it. He was the best with 30 yrs of experience.
USC continually works on their reputation and spend millions advertising it. They don't want to be dragged through the mud on the internet. This is bordering on malpractice.
I have been a loyal patient at USC since 1995 and being 77 with many years of supervisory experience. I would be glad to discuss this with Dr Fuchs for you if you would like. PM me if interested or need some help.
There is no way I would have your current URO touch me again. He has shown his class by trying to lie about the problem. Also, you can get a complete surgical report that should indicate who actually did the work. He was in the operating room... Did a student do the work.

Tmansdorfer, I think your doctor sounds like a f'khead. email me in 6 months is the kind of bullshit some of the doctors dicking me around would throw at me when I was trying to get my first implant. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. A competent one this time. Hugs buddy. d

I still have the nagging thought that they forgot the RTEs.
If it turns out that way, I think it is malpractice.
