I can not speak for Jerry but my pump was high in my scrotum. The post op instructions were to pull it down gently to get it in a place that was easy to reach and pump. The instructions also said to keep my penis up on my belly pointing at my navel for 4-6 weeks. The morning I went home the doctor reminded me to do this.
My IPP was 10/23/08. Two weeks later the pump was at the bottom of my scrotum between my testicles. It is easy to reach and pump. Just by looking at my scrotum it is hard to tell I have a pump.

Re: My Implant Journey
Jack....My pump has always been at the very bottom of my scrotum. At my 2-week checkup, I was told it was in a very favorable position....and the valve was accesible. However things seem to me to be very different. The valve does not seem to be accessible but sort of tangled or anchored to something. My right testicle is very high in my scrotum...almost up in my inguinal canal. The pump is still low in the scrotum.....but there is a mass below my testicle. And it feels as though all my spermatic cords/blood vessels/cremator muscle/vas defrens, etc...all feel as though they are below my testicle and associated with a fluid filled sac. They are supposed to be above the testicle. That is just my perception...i dont know that is actually the case...but it feels that way to my fingers. In my opinion....something drastically changed right after my checkup. And i must report that the capsule(fluid filled bubble) seems to have regained some size since i woke up this morning.
I will do my best to talk with Dr Milam tomorrow.

Went To Vandy Today
After talking with Vandy it was decided that I needed to see Milam and Doran in person. So mid-day today I drove three hours from Georgia to Nashville. They worked me right in and i did not have a long wait. Both men, Doran and Milam attended me. Doran was able to separate the pump from the capsule with his hands....no surgery needed. It did not hurt at all. They both inspected me carefully, analyzing the egg sized capsule and concluding that all is well. These capsules sometimes form and this one is not a threat. Both men were warm, friendly, and supportive. I really appreciate their attitude, willingness to help, and professionalism. So the tide has turned....all is well....and i am a happy boy. As Dr Milam tol me......."You are headed for a very good outcome." I mentioned to him my new sensitivity and that I was masturbating by gently stroking the underside of my frenulum. He smiled and said things were going to get even better.
So...the storm clouds have parted and the sunlight is shining through again. Yeah....the pump was not permanently attached to the capsule.....and the capsule will disappear with time.

Re: My Implant Journey
so, what is this capsule? Earlier you guessed it was the sperm duct, cords and other natural tubing ect. associated with the testicles . So was that what it was or was it something else. What did they think caused it? did these vessels get tangled up and then brusied when the doc used the pump? or did something get twisted up into your new plumbing?
Well, it's great they fixed it and gave you thumbs up. While on this subject, can the testicles wrap around the new tubing? Geez, I hope not as I will have double the amount of tubing as you. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you as you approach the activation day.

A Christmas Story

Of course they knew you wouldn't wait until Christmas to play with your Red Ryder BB gun! No wonder you're a happy boy!

60's. Married. Occasional ED offset by a variety of methods (VED pumping, foreskin restoration, edging) with Cialis and/or pills sometimes for sex.
Re: My Implant Journey
Glad to hear it was easily fixed. Sometimes we think the worst and then it turns out OK.
Keep the physical thearpy gentle for a while. The instructios say no sex for six weeks, but a little thearpy works wonders for us.

Jack, sex? I seem to remember some talk of exactly what is sex? wasn't it a former president who explored the boundary of the defination of "sex" and even words like "is". So, Genone may have a whole variety of things he can do involving his member while asbstaining from "sex" if presidential definition is followed.
Genone, I would still like to hear more about the capusle as lately my thoughts are more and more centered on my scrotum soon to be filled with tubes and pumps. Not that it will make any difference as my date is set and tubes and pumps will be in place.

Prediction of greatly diminished penile size.
For over 4 weeks I have been wearing a rather stiff semi-erection during the healing process. In eleven days I will travel to Vandy to meet with Todd Duran for the purpose of activating my Titan implant. I am going to make an informed prediction about my new size with my implant. As I have documented in words and pictures, for the preceding years before my implant surgery, my flaccid lenght was 6 inches...my erect length was right at 8.5 inches long with a girth of almost 6.5 inches. You can check with page one of this thread for documentation of these dimensions.
My prediction for my post-activation size is a maximum erect length of 6.5 inches and a maximum erect girth of 5.5 inches. This means my new erect length will be about the size of my previous flaccid size. This represents the loss of a full 2 inches in erect length and a full inch in girth. If this is the case I will list my results as disappointing. Yes, I am sure I will have dependable erections, but with a greatly diminished size.
Also, because the glans of my penis is quite floppy in its attachment with the ends of the implant tubes, I predict a problem of my glans folding under or backward as I thrust inward during sex. This may be due to the implant not being long enough for my penis.
These are predictions on my part. And I certainly hope to be proven wrong on these predictions. But I think the odds are that I will be correct.
