Wow, that was scary! Seems like your doctor is correct, and that the problem was only on the surface… I will be at three weeks this Friday, and I too have had a very rough recovery. How I envy these guys who say they got by with two Tylenol and only had a slight bruise, playing tennis on day five! (OK, I made up the part about playing tennis, but still :)

Wishing you the best of luck!

I'm wondering how many 'revisions' occur due to surface infections. It wasn't a pretty sight, but is MUCH better looking now. Granted I didn't have a TON of puss, but it wasn't a tiny amount either. Enough to cover a gauze pad after several hours. I've been pretty lucky so far. So wtih that...

Week 4 Update

Not a heck of a lot to report in. Most of the discomfort is gone. I can do some Kegel exercises now (pelvic floor health is good for keeping my bladder in check post RALP) with only a tiny bit of discomfort. Mostly in my crus. I haven't done any inflation or activations since seeing the doctor mostly because I don't want to disturb anything at all down there.

My incision continues to heal and looks a LOT better. There is definitely scar material but hey - I'll live. It also looks like there is still some disolvable stitch material left to - ah - disolve - so I'm letting it do its thing. The only discomfort now is from the testicle incision itself. Its still a bit tender in feeling. Also my numbness on the underside of my shaft is slowly getting better.

So - two weeks to go before I can begin any real "work" with this thing - man am I itching to try. Abstaining from anything is hell. :D

Glad to hear that the stitch infection is resolved and gone! According to my uro, once the incision is closed and if there's no hematoma, chances of infection are much lower. Abstinence is difficult indeed haha. Good luck, we are almost there!
30 years old French with ED caused by priapism episodes at the age of 15. Implanted with 21cm + 3cm RTEs AMS 700 CX MS pump on 05/12/2024 by Dr Sébastien Beley. Pills had lost most of their potency, injections worked but were painful and inconvenient.

Week 5 Update

So one more week before my 'official' activation - but I have to admit that in the last few days I have been working the implant a bit.

First of all - my stitches are vastly better. I am down to just scabs at this point a a few very tiny bits of dissolveable thread visible. I'm applying an extra strength antibiotic cream once a day just because I'm paranoid. Pain is quite minimal unless I do any inflating.

Second of all - I'm back to wearing pants. Yesterday was my first day going outside of the house in pants. Prior to this I've been using a kilt. Its a bit chilly in the winter, but it got the job done of covering my bits up. I definitely recomend this to anyone in this situation as it reduces rubbing. Which is my biggest issue now. While I am not, nor will I probably ever be near my original pre-cancer size, I am now a shower. I was an 'extreme grower' before with a softie that measured probably 3 inches x 3 inches on a GOOD day - but would harden up to an impressive 7.5 x 6.25. Now? Soft I'm about 4.5 x 4.4 or so. WAY more than I had before. Add the pump into my testicular sack and well - I'm not used to having all this 'down there.' So there is a lot of rubbing and such I'll have to get used to. Thank God I'm 'loose cut' so I have enough foreskin to protect my glans! I'm VERY glad to be wearing pants as I have Jury Duty on the 22nd.

Last of all pics. So - soft - I look decent I'd say. Definitely looks natural. Pumped? Same. I'm no where near my old size - but I'm optimistic that I'll gain some size back with cycling. I do experience a dull ache if I pump. It doesn't start right away but its there. So I'm not doing this hardly at all. Like I said - soft - about 4.5 x 4.4 or so - pumped I have reached a 'respectible' 5.5" x 5". I do have a slight curve to the left. This may be remanants of my Peyroneys as I had quite a bulge going on due to the fibrosis building on the left side of my shaft. I have a follow up with my doctor on the 20th at week 6.

Absolutely. The glans isn't engorged as I was just doing an inflation - might add another 1/4" to 1/2" there.

The CX definitely gets rigid enough for anything you'd want to do...my body is still adapting though - I'll need to get accustomed to it before I put it through it's paces.

it has a very natural look, I have the titan and it doesn't look as natural as yours, I have to do a revision, I'll put the cx if my doctor keeps his word by making me pay only for the device, or I'll put a malleable to close the problem revisions for Always

Very happy to hear about your progress! I think you are well on your way. I wish I had thought about wearing a kilt, I think that is hysterical but also brilliant. I just had these old man pajamas with a button fly that I left open with my penis sticking out.
You are fortunate that your flaccid is rounded; mine is flatter and has more of a surfboard appearance, which I am told by other site members is fairly common.
