That's one aspect of a natural erection I'll miss after my implant surgery next week, but hey, given all the other pluses, I'm not going to complain.

I'm excited/apprehensive, but looking forward to some happy rumpy-pumpy again, as is my dear long-suffering wife.

GoodWood wrote:I just asked my surgeon Dr Eid about this. I’ve been dressing with my flaccid pointing up since surgery 2 weeks ago. My current inflated erection points up to 2 o’clock instead of straight out at 3 o’clock. I like this and would like to maintain this upward angle.

I asked him if I should continue to dress with my penis pointing up to help maintain the upward angle. His response was this:

“Yes it will help maintain the angle. Keep the flaccid pointing up until you are fully healed, 4 to 6 weeks if tolerable.”

So that’s what I’m gonna do.

Thanks guys for the ongoing replies, this has become a much more engaging topic than I expected.
I agree that everyone should do what their own doctor advises. But it's interesting to see how much variation there is, even from high profile surgeons who do a lot of these procedures. My Dr was adamant that it needs to stay partly inflated for 6 weeks, which is a pain for various reasons, but I've gone along with it and hope it results in some benefits.

That's amazing, and best of luck with your surgery! I'm usually nervous for any significant medical procedure, but I was so keen to get my implant that I literally marched into theatre and owned the room . Now looking forward to finally being activated on Monday.

I'm 2 days post op and wearing compression underwear to keep it pointing skyward.
This is the most comfortable position, as it's how I've always dressed, and it seems to help lift it from the 3 o'clock position that this implant naturally assumes.
I'm 80% inflated anyway and it would be weird to try to force it down or sideways.

Yes, it was also the most comfortable position in my own limited experience. I've always dressed downwards but now struggling with the happy problem of where put my new bulge :). Please don't force anything, especially at 80%. There will be enough of that if you do the Perito exercise once you start cycling, as my sore dick is now finding out.
