Why not? From a purely hydraulic standpoint it seems to me that a MINOR amount of suction from a VED would make inflating an implant easier - maybe even able to inflate the implant without pumping your scrotum (once the valve is set to the proper position).

Note the emphasis on MINOR.

Vacuum pumping too much might possibly produce unintended consequences, like separation of your tissues from the implant or sucking the pump and valve from your scrotum up against the base of the implant or other such unpleasantries.

The fact is, that I don't really know for sure, but it seems to me that there might be two advantages. 1) Easier pumping up of the implant and 2) Engorgement of the glans, which does not primarily benefit from the implant, but can contribute to your and your partner's enjoyment.

The possible dangers are too numerous to contemplate without a lot more knowledge of anatomy than I have.

But I wonder....

With all due respect sir, you don't even have an implant. Please refrain from giving fellow frank talk members poor advice. One should not use a ved with an implant.

Don't use a VED.
I can see that if you are badly sized and you use a VED, you could pull the tips out of the glans.
I think Im shorter too but no going to make any judgements until all the swelling of the surgical scar goes down.
I still can't get to the pubic bone on the top side along the shaft.
When I grasp like you, pumped up, I have the rim of the glans just exposed above my grip.
Deflated, my grip encompasses everything, so it looks like the titan does shrink. Who knew.
I have measured 11cm from where the scar is hard to the tip.
Waiting is a pain but necessary.
well done on your activation though.

cheers

You are NOT allowed to use a VED with an implant. I used one for years before I got the implant, maybe one of the reasons I had zero problems. Of course my surgeon is top, I'm glad that I went to him.

Quite.

Nowhere did I advise vacuum pumping over any implant.

I think my post emphasized that I was definiteily NOT giving advice and just wondering and also mentioned the unintended consequences that might happen.

I have seen at least one post on FrankTalk by someone with an implant who does use a vacuum pump.

No way, no how am I advocating pumping vacuum on top of an implant, just wondering if the idea is inherently dangerous or not.

yes, i am "cycling" each day, but as i said, i can only get 3 pumps.. sometimes 4, and im erect, and i do have pain , under the corona, where the tips on the cylinders are pushing.. but more of just an "ache" , i will post some photos from some
"home movie" shots of my penis before..surgery... (and before ED) and now , so you can see the drastic difference,
i will not use the VED, so.. thanks for that advice.. , but now that ive got..what ive got.. i am contemplating an .."enlargement"
you can google "Dr James Elist, a Beverly Hills urologist, developed a new penile implant" ive already talked to him, he said, i will have to wait a year.. ( i dont know, maybe because, he thinks my implant will grow as i progress, and will not want/need the implant..) i dunno..
but its an option.. i know its mostly psychological , and i should just deal with it :-)

Good job cycling every day. 3 or 4 pumps doesn't seem like a lot. Pain and or discomfort when fully pumped up can actually be good. It could mean you have room to grow. Beware of Elist... I've read some negative stuff about him.

Hey... I hope that for your physical well being you don't go to this doctor for anything. Run away from it like the plague. There are loads of threads and posts online complaining about Dr elist and his enlargement. Lots of complications and fake results and total ignore of the patient on the followup. Google it.

As for using a VED and separating the tips from the glans, there is a user here that had is implant severely undersized when installed. So much that his glans is not even supported and he can bend it back! But if does have good blood flow naturally and he inflates and with natural remaining blood flow he is able to have a stiff erection and penetrate no problem. I forgot the thread but it was a couple of months ago.

There was also a debate going on about using a traction device with a suction cup to hold the glans to get the size back.

In my opinion this is something that, over time, it could work. There are guys using these devices on the peyronies board. The issue is having to have a revision to correct the sizing. But hey... I think this would be something awesome to debate with a doctor like doctor Kramer tho
I said many times this forum needs a wiki where we can post this stuff, otherwise amazing content like this gets lost. But the admin doesn't care even after multiple contact attempts...

Happy New Year guys,
I gave my VED to a friend for Christmas. We hated it but at least I could get hard. Too hard like a statue! :( Never will use one again. If your implanted never use a VED. You could really 'screw' things up bad!
I recommend using one prior to surgery. I kept my length after implant.

PFracture,
I think the member you are thinking of is Genome
http://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/search.php?author_id=231&sr=posts

He figured out that using a VED made huge improvements in his undersized Implant. I too have been using a VED for over 4 yrs. to increase the "swell" in the glans, as I have venous leak ...

You can see the difference in the glans size (right side) ... I have never had an issue using the VED with my Implant.

There is a mention in the below articles about the advantages of VED after Implant:
