Agree
Many stories like these can be read in this forum, in my opinion it is better not to risk when choosing a surgeon. Go to a top surgeon Eid Kramer Perito Karpman and see what they say, they are specialized in implants, don't risk more
It seems like every few months the list of these "Wonder Docs" grows like my dick. I just hope that everyone realizes that there are many surgeons who are not "high volume surgeons" out there who do great work and don't require a fan club to have a full surgical schedule. Due to a shortage of doctors here in Canada, all surgeons have more patients than they would like. Suggesting that someone NEEDS to get on a plane and fly to wherever one of the big one? two? three? four? are. I am certain that they are great doctors, as are MANY, MANY others. As far as I am concerned, it stands to reason that, any of us who's dick did not work but, works great now, will probably like to add their docs name to the list of "Super Docs". If I were looking for advice on a doctor, I would find it much more helpful if I were told who NOT to have the surgery done by. In the last few days there has been a significant number of posts that sound like a commercial... this is not permitted. If you wanna say that your doc is great or, did a great job, then that's fine but anything more than that can have a negative impact to the non-profit websites funding etc. Please, cool it. Thanks.

Re: Floppy head
Dude,
This looks like a situation a competent surgeon can resolve. The operative word is competent. Sadly I don't think yours was. I see no excuse for putting in a shorter implant.

If it's true, it may be necessary. Everyone makes mistakes, though and this doc obviously did not produce an optimal result.
Somewhere between the understatement "suboptimal" and the hyperbolic "fucked" lies the truth. Pointing out the end points of possibilities may not be nice, but it does support Ruktitan (perhaps clumsily).
I opine that the blunt overstatement may help energize Ruktitan's resolve to assert his right to a proper and functional outcome.

Re: Floppy head - Measuring the penis in surgery
Measuring the penis (which I suspect Ruktitan's surgeon did not do properly)
I found it remarkable how much force is applied.
http://search.myway.com/search/video.jh ... uCNmahAWXI
from 1min 46s to 2min 30s
Dr. Kramer makes the proximal measurement first (down into the pelvic crus), and quite energetically to my eyes. Then he makes the distal measurement from the incision toward the glans, to the end of the tunica. Then the two measurements are added together to find the appropriate size of implant to insert into the patient.
Measuring the second corpus cavernosum tunica albuginea'c length is particularly illuminating as Dr. Kramer uses the scissors tool to opoen the tunica all the way to the end (which your surgeoen may have not done properly).
This video (one of Dr. Eid's surgeries) shows how energetically the distal measurement is made by an expert implanter.

2min: 30s to 3:min
Another of Dr. Kramer's videos:
http://search.myway.com/search/video.jh ... 2535287530
1:37 to 1:53 an 2:00 to 2:04
I have seen (but cannot find right now) videos of the distal measurement that shows the entire length of the penis and how much the penis is stretched while doing the measurement.
But this one comes close
http://search.myway.com/search/video.jh ... 2536466956
3:30 to 7:30
Dr Kramer's narration is especially compelling to support your case for your surgeon to step up and take responsibility to make this right, even if it is to send you to a more expert surgeon in revisions. And, the sooner the better.
The following is total speculation on my part, but you might find it worthwhile. I wondered if your surgeon was too timid with the amount of force applied when measuring you. But it might be more likely he encountered scar tissue or some abnormality in the tunica that made him think he had reached the end. Unlikely that he would have thought that if he had observed the extension of your penis, but if it was covered by a drape, he might have missed it. Sad that a surgeon would be so much less than thorough. (hturner12 might use the word "sloppy", or worse.)
Or maybe he just did the arithmetic wrong when adding the proximal and distal measurements and did not check the results after implanting (and before closing you up).
Just speculating as to how things could have gone so far wrong.

Re: Floppy head
Ruktitan, it might be a good idea to request an operative report from your surgeons office and or ask what size device you were implanted with.

Re: Floppy head
There is no excuse for a pump placed too high. Mine was done right the first time. My doc used 5.5 Rtes for an 18cm AMS. Most of my implant is outside my body giving me a nice 7" erection. Never a problem with deflation.
