A Vacuum Erection Device/VED/penis pump should be used before and after surgery by essentially everyone.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Up to now I’ve only used it while flaccid then cycled after to stretch the cylinders to the space provided by the VED. Ive seen some say they use the VED while fully and partially pumped. I’m little over 1.5 months post 4th revision and considering going to partially pumped VED use to get back to my previous size of my 3rd implant. My question is, in your experience is there much difference in pumping while fully pumped vs semi pumped vs flaccid?
Are the gains much greater one over the other with time?

Hi Curved Guy, I also have a little curvature up. I do not use the VED 100% inflated, it is easier for me to use it maybe 70% inflated becuse the penis is more flexible.

By the way, I see in your signature in most of your revisions you were getting larger implant size. Did your penis become bigger every time you got a larger implant? Or nothing changed with the bigger implants?

Also how much size did you lose in your last surgery? Do you feel you lost size because of the surgery itself or because you took a long time to do your revision so you were deflated too long?

Thanks for your response/advise. My first implant was undersized corrected by the second. Yes I increased in size, length and width before the third revision. On the third I noticed some more gains with VED use but only used VED while not pumped up. Currently I don’t feel I lost in size other than it being a new implant that hasn’t been stretched yet. I believe with the use of the VED I can do that (stretch it) a bit faster than the years it took to stretch the second one.

Thanks for your comments, very nice to read from someone with all your experience.

So for example when you changed from 22+2 to 22+3 (1cm difference), did you notice your penis get bigger in real life, or was it the same?
Implanted October 11, 2024, Dr Karaman. Infla10 AX 20cm +1cm RTE.

I always start out using my VED with my implant deflated. I find I get more blood engorgement into the remnant corpora doing that and the glans. After ten minutes or so I'll take the VED off and partially inflate and put the VED back on. Leave it on another few minutes, take it off and pump a bit more into my implant. I do cycles of that until my implant is fully inflated and maxed out. I have to say I've got a pretty thick monstrous dick by the end of doing those cycles that I can't even fit my whole hand around, but maybe other users don't want too large or girthy of a penis depending on their partner. I personally like it. I don't pump too high of a pressure to develop lymphedema though but if you're careful you shouldn't. It's made my girth, when using a VED, greater than one I had pre-implant for sure.

Oregon, did the VED help you increase length/girth outside of the VED also? or only during the time you use the VED?

I also use VED in a similar way to you , i started recently, i do not start at zero inflation but maybe 50% and then add pumps and repeat. I am noticiing my dick grows inside the VED but not necessarily outside.

So i am not sure yet, if my penis is really growing, or i am just getting better at using the VED (more pressure and so on)

I am assuming I am stretching the corpora internally with the VED which may be allowing me to squeeze more pumps into the cylinders to increase their diameter as well. I think in the beginning it helped increase my length slighty or at least restore what I had at my best pre-implant. I don't think I ever did detailed measurements of my dick though prior to implantation so can't say for sure. My girth though is way up from what I had pre-implantation which lends me to believe the cylinders are accepting more saline into them with pumping it up over time and I've got larger overall corporal diameter than what I had pre implant from the VED use or stretching it out from the larger cylinder volume I've been able to pump into it.

so 1st one lasted 1.5 years , second 5 .5 ish years , then broke , the redo lasted a month and another break/redo and then 1 more year ? how do you handle all that surgery ?

It wasn’t fun and very mentally draining. There was a point where I considered having it removed and cutting my losses! Thank god for having a great wife that encouraged me to be strong and endure.

yeah credit to your good wife for standing by you on that .
And not to bash ipp's ,but the risk or inevitable break down is one reason i did not choose the ipp . its a toss of the dice on when it will malfunction.
Apparently they are great when they work and after the patient gets over that surgery . but then it craps out and do it again.
These implant manufacturers need to get it together . fix the pumps . No more pinholes in the lines, cylinders and loose connections .
