When I was at your stage of recovery was the time I also questioned my choice to get an implant.
I was given the go ahead for sexual activity--jerking off, blowjobs, fucking--at eight weeks. Between that point and roughly 16 weeks, I experienced numbness, discomfort, pain, and inability to orgasm. And I remember being pretty despondent, thinking I can be hard, but there's no pleasure. This sucks.
But my body continued to heal and adjust to the implant. And all those problems faded away.
As others have said, I encourage you to give yourself time to heal.
My advice is to not get an implant

Re: My advice is to not get an implant
took me 6 to 7 months in order to be able to climax. .. but I had 3 surgeries in 12 months on my penis ..2 complete implants and an exploratory surgery .. that's a lot of cutting through nerves .. now that I have had the last implant a year it's gotten a bit better ..I think we all heal and recover at different rates .. and our expectations based both on each person and what their dr's have sold them will be different ..
Rigicon since 6-2023 happy to share my experience and do show and tell

To me, that old dick isn’t worth remembering. Sure, it brought some pleasure with hand play. What's the point anyways? It couldn't penetrate a pussy. It left a permanent scar in my marital relationship. It would go soft right in the middle of a cowgirl session. It only brought heart aches and tears. Anyways, do what brings you happiness, Mark! Don't rush into complete emptying of cavernosal space, as fibrosis can also destroy the capsule and can be irreversible. After you get your IPP, please give atleast 1 year for healing, before you come to any conclusion. Don't expect miracles in 3 weeks.
Quoting Dr. Wilson:
"Never rush a revision. Tincture of time may put a poultice on the patient’s frustration and gives time for the capsule to form which can be used in the repair".
Dr. Wilson's quotation strikes me as full of wisdom. I know that Mark is very upset, but who knows what good might await on the other end of another 3-6 months of healing? For my part, little things are still changing and improving for me at roughly 7 months, and in ways I could not anticipate. Moving aggressively to IPP implantation may not resolve what ails Mark, and I'm even less confident that outright explantation will do anything but entomb an organ that's still very much alive.
Solid advice. Hopefully that ends up being the plan. I only suggested the ipp over explant, which I think explanting would be regretted but an ipp possibly could help some of his perceived current issues- idk tho. But it's so early & I know being 1 year into my own recovery now that a lot changes from 3-12 months.
For example, my sensitivity & ability to orgasm at 6-7(ish) months has improved so much. It's now easier than it ever was for me to orgasm than when I was taking pills & injecting (so since my 20s). Also has softened up flaccid to where I hardly notice it anymore, minus having a bulge in certain clothing, which honestly isn't bad. It just looks like I'm hung lol & have gotten compliments even from chicks. There are many things that improved with time so I ideally he gives it more time & gets his head in a better place over it.
