Update. The fix from the AMS rep seemed to have made a great deal of improvement. I can now feel the raised deflate button and had consistent results last night and this morning. I will give it the weekend and the first part of next week. Received a reply from my last e-mail to my surgeon today and a phone call. Discussed it a bit more and if thing go south again he says he can fix it with an office visit (unlike my local guy). So things look really good to resolve this at the latest in a week or so.

All is right with my world again. Woooo hooooo. Happy dance.

I still have minor trouble with uneven inflation but nothing as severe as before I used the AMS REP fix. I still use the fix from time to time if things start getting worse. I had a proximal perforation that caused a hard left angle. \ When I would lay down on my back fully inflated my penis would lay flat above my left leg. I could not afford another surgery and it took 3 years to get my insurance to pay. Had to go to my gastro doc to have a CT that showed the perforation that was causing pain with sex near my colon. I still inflate uneven but if evens out mostly and my \ angle is less than 1/2 of what it was before. Not the result I paid out of pocket for but it works mostly.

It has been a long over 4.5 years. I had other problems right after surgery. The first being the hard left pointing that was seen the morning following surgery when the doctor's resident removed my cath. The look on her face was troubling when she released my penis without the cath and it floped to the left flat on my body above my left thigh. With the left cylinder inflating to max before there was any inflation of the right cylinder (very little if any right cylinder inflation) the left distal cylinder tip mover down and to the outside of my Glans. When the right cylinder did inflate after long attempts the right distal cylinder tip move left to the middle and down close to my urethra. After the fix by the AMS rep I would position the glans to help move the tips back closer to where they should be. When I was first having sex I had pain from my left distal cylinder tip as it was so low and far to the outside. This has improved with the manipulation. And I had proximal pain from aggressive thrusting toward my body. With the hard left angle from the base (actually seemed to be inside my body) sexual positions were limited. The repair of the proximal perforation with a sling helped this. The angle is about 1/2 or a little less than it was before the repair. The distal tip Glans Hypermobility is improved but still present. The proximal pain is still present but not as severe or frequent.

So yes still problems and limitations but better by about 1/2. It does work and I can have an erection anytime I want so that is the good part.
