That video is the best I've seen as far as the "flatness and flaccid erect" features with the Titan I always hear about. I am sure that those issues get better over time.

Its actually the main reason I witched to wanting an LGX. Its already easy to see my dick through jeans and I am not even implanted yet. My wife hates that you can see my dick through any pants I wear and I actually try to hide it quit a bit haha.

Yeah, hadn’t seen any videos that really demonstrated what I was experiencing, so I figured I’d take one. In this initial phase while all the tissues around are dealing with the stuff cylinders and folding points, it’s just plain uncomfortable. But I remind myself that it took a week to get used to the erect implant, now I get to acclimate to the flaccid one. It’ll get better.

LGX was my initial choice, but Dr Karpman said anytime he has to use an implant above 20cm or so, he leans toward the Titan, and I’m doing my first implant completely on the rails. Whatever the expert wants to do, I’m letting him do. I’ll have at least 2 or 3 revisions in my life, so I can maybe try something else next time around!

Having a “more normal” flaccid again would be pretty great. My erection is GREAT though. Can’t wait to start using it. :)

Two weeks out now...time is not flying, haha. I’m back to work, which means 6 hours of meetings. I’m doing well, but there are various discomforts that were hitting me hard today.

Wearing pants is not fun at all. I’ve been using a sock as a way to provide some support and softness around my penis part of the day, but even with that, it’s tough to tuck myself over...the general stiffness, crunchiness, and kinking on the Titan is a challenge, but I also know it gets better as the tubes soften up, and my body gets used to the sensations.

The other, more serious discomfort is a feeling of bloating and tightness in my lower left abdomen. It feels like I’ve got a huge pocket of gas or a giant shit that wants out, but I’m having normal stool passing normally. The cramping just feels terrible.

I’m still having some reflux issues after deflating. To fully deflate, I have to push and hold down the button, squeeze my penis a bunch, then release and repush the button harder, squeeze again, and finally release the button. It stays fully deflated for a bit, then slowly fills back to about 30% over the next hour or so and stays there. Unfortunately, bending is much harder at 30%, so I have to re-deflate every few hours if I’m going to be tucking it into pants.

Keeping positive, and I’m back down to a few ibuprofen per day...if the cramps get any worse, I’m going to have to start upping the pain meds again though.

When I’m erect, most of the issues I mentioned go away. That’s great, but I spend a lot more time not having sex than having sex! Looking forward to adapting to my new flaccid.

you'll get there. I think all of us have that weird lower abdominal cramping sensation, it DOES go away eventually. I also noticed when inflating I had this weird deep pelvic ache, that I think was the internal parts of the cylinders inflating, expanding the tissues internally and causing me pain. I was worried at first it was a sign of a deep pelvic infection, but it eventually subsided when the rest of the swelling did. What you are experiencing is very common. It probably mostly went away for me by about 4 to 5 weeks.

Oh man, you have no idea how good that is to hear. I mean, it sucks so many folks have to go through this annoying discomfort, but it's good to hear it's something that fades with time. Makes it damn hard to concentrate at work in the meantime, but they know I had "abdominal surgery", so they're pretty understanding haha.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Overall, I'm disappointed at the flaccid state, but that's not what I got the implant for. I'll miss my old super-malleable flexible soft penis...But I won't miss failing to penetrate, that's for sure! I also know it will get "somewhat better" over time.

Here's a quick video I took of deflating: Deflating Week 1 (EDIT: Changed the link, my previous encode had a weird starting frame issue)

Hopeful,
I just watched your deflating video and I can tell you that my looks worse then yours at 2 years ( just few days ago). My never improved and never changed flaccid angle. Even deflated more then yours, it is always semi erect despite being flat as it was run by bus tire.
That is the nature of Titan. I was thinking it is because my is very short 18+1 but yours is much longer and still same BS.
I am also very disappointed with Titan.

Hi folks! Short entry right now, since I can't type very well. My implant recovery is going pretty well, but I badly burned my left hand last week. Somewhere on the border of second and third degree, may or may not need surgery...doc is monitoring it. Gave me a very different perspective on the pain scale. Nothing through the entire implant process has come even close to the pain of a burn like this. Luckily, there shouldn't be any lifelong disfigurement or issues with my hand's functioning...just probably some significant scarring.

Anyway, I've had to learn to do a lot of things one-handed lately, and typing is still quite slow going. Meanwhile, I have learned how challenging it is to operate the titan with only one hand. Pumping it up and pressing the deflate button aren't tough, but I've had to resort to using my arm to flatten my penis against a countertop while holding the deflate button to get the fluid out. It's pretty ridiculous, but it does the job 80-90% as well as squeezing out the fluid with my other hand.

The pain in my lower left abdomen has receded, and I've got a new strange sensation. It feels like there's a tightness between my belly button and my pubic region...so if I stretch upwards, it feels like somethings pulling in that area. No pain, just weird.

I've been trying to wear sweatpants all day with underwear to train myself to actually go out in public. Still discomfort bending the penis in whatever direction to get it to lay flat, there's no way to avoid the fold in the tubes yet...I know they're supposed to soften over a few months though. They are already noticeably softer than they were to start. Still sticks straight out while flaccid, but I can gently bend it downward now. I've even managed to pee standing up, though I had to stand back a bit and then rush closer when I finished to avoid making a mess.

Hope everyone's doing well! Once I've got use of my hand again, I'll grab some more pictures and share more updates.

I used the hospital's portable urinal at the toilet for quite a long time. I just peed in the urinal and them emptied it into the bowl. Either that or peeing while in the shower.

Sorry to hear about your hand. Praying for a good functional and cosmetic recovery.

OMG Hopeful, thats horrible. I can't even imagine dealing with a burn at the same time dealing with an implant. Stay strong and best of luck to you.

Thanks for the sympathies on the burn, folks! Hoping it won't need surgery...I don't want any more surgery for a while!

Had my 3 week followup with Dr. Karpman today. He took a look, and went to feel around the pump to see how things are healing...I just about jumped out of my seat, it was so uncomfortable, but he did hit the release valve, and way more firmly than I've been doing it. When he did, the Touch valve actually worked as intended! It was possible to squeeze without holding down the button, which I've been having trouble with! If I could manage to do this regularly, I'd be much better able to deflate even with one hand (the burned hand can't wrap around my penis to squeeze).

He noted how tender it was, and I mentioned the weird feeling of something building up and enveloping the pump (felt like a balloon, mildly uncomfortable, would swell up off and on)...I was worried it was my old varicocele returning and the veins somehow getting wrapped around the pump. Definitely concerning! However, he said it appears to be a hydrocele, which is a common response to trauma to the testicle. Might be related to the couple of times the pump slipped out of my hand and shot into my nut early on. He noted that I was more tender than I seemed to be 2 weeks ago, so a bit of a backslide, but should be possible to resolve it.

His suggestion is to get back on daily ibuprofen, reduce my cycling to once daily (or even a few days per week without), and get back to hot baths to promote healing and relaxing the area. My next checkup is in 3 months, and he was saying we can see how things are going then. Kind of puts the severity in perspective, he didn't seem overly worried, just wanted me to be more gentle with the area. He said if it hasn't resolved in that time or if it worsens significantly, it could require moving the pump to the other side and surgically repairing the hydrocele...I told him I'd rather he just take out my left nut. I was only half joking.

Besides that stuff, I'm cleared for sexual activity and normal activity...Might mean I get started on my workouts soon, at least ramping up to them. Shit, I probably can't do much but jogging with my hand like this though. Going to be ramping up with my husband too. ;)
