Question for you guys… and I know this varies person to person, but I am just looking for a ballpark guess or some good estimates based on what you guys have experienced or know from your own research..
Like many of you I have always been a grower, not a shower and it got even worse once ED completely took over and I was unable to get erections.
PRE SURGERY (PRESENT DAY)
My flaccid state is around 3 inches, and then after a shot of Tri Mix my erect is 7.5 inches bone pressed. My STRETCHED flaccid state is also 7.5 inches.
I am wondering what I can EXPECT (ball park) my new flaccid after implant to be.I will be getting an AMS CX.
My research leads me to believe I may be as much as 6 inches flaccid!! Which would amazing!!
What are your thoughts??
Based on everything I’ve read

I would guess 6.5+ based on my experience. I am only like .5 difference, 5.75ish flaccid, 6.25 hard.

Hi Profirefight,
Thank you for posting your story here. It actually grabbed my attention as I am in a similar situation. I am 33, and I also went through addiction for a long time. I have been clean and sober for more than a year, and everything is going well except for the ED. My ED resulted from a drainage procedure after prolonged priapism and left me with scar tissue done by an inexperienced doctor in China (The procedure had to be done in China as it was an emergency and was at the height of Covid and I couldn't fly out because of the lockdown, so it was a very unfortunate time for me)
I am scheduled to get an implant in January 2024. If I could do it now, I would, but I work abroad and only trust my specialist back in South Africa (Dr. Frans van Wijk). The Chinese medical professionals have scarred me (mentally and physically)
I can't remember the specifics of the implant he wants to use; I only know it's the three-piece device from Boston Scientific. I'll have to email him about that and ask, among other questions, that came up reading your and other threads.
I am also excited to get the implant and go back to the sex life I used to have.
My only concern at this point is the psychological impact it will have on me with my "mind-to-dick" connection. I don't know how to explain it in another way. Have you thought about this issue? Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have to do it than not ever get hard again manually, so we are fortunate that our last resort is a good one. But unfortunately, we won't have those spontaneous erections ever again, and it gets to me. I'm afraid it would have an effect on my overall libido.
Anyway, good luck with the upcoming surgery. I'm truly happy for you.
Please keep on posting, especially after your surgery. This thread means a lot.

Thanks for your reply Anon..
I am about one week out of surgery. I am beyond excited to get this done!
I am definitely not looking forward to taking 6 weeks off the gym as I am an avid weight lifter, but in the grand scheme of things I know it’s not a big deal.
I will be updating hopefully as soon as I get home from surgery next Tuesday and will continue to provide updates as things go along.

Right now I’m using Trimix & it’s working well, but know that an implant is always there if injections stop working. Take care.

Welcome to the forum Annon101.
I will venture the opinions that the pre-ED "mind-to-dick" connection with your (previously) functioning dick will be replaced by a Post-Op "mind-to-cyber-dick" connection which, while not exactly the same will be very much more satisfactory thatn your post-ED mind-to-dick connection.
I can say from experience (as can a huge portion of the men here on FrankTalk) that the mental adjustment to my rebuilt and functioning penis is quite easy to accept as my "new normal". It took me a few months to get my mind to fully accept that my erection was infallible. Getting accustomed to having to manually inflate that erection was a bigger adjustment (and still in the back of my mind during the runup to foreplay and sex), but a small price to pay for a functioning erection.
I doubt that knowing you are bionic (I prefer the term "cyber") will intrude on your consciousness to any great extent. Think of it as a car. You get in the driver's seat, turn a key (or punch a button) and the car goes. If you had to (as in the early days of the automobile) had to set a magneto, get in front of the car and turn a crank and jump in the driver's seat, operate a clutch and gears to get moving, that might be on your mind before hitting the road. But...BUT once you are zooming around corners and feeling the acceleration of a powerful engine hitting the road, all that prepatory interference with your emotional thought processes fades.
(I hope your wife does not mind the metaphor I just wrote portraying her as a "road".)

Less than 72 hours away from having my implant surgery! I will do my best to log in as soon as I can after it’s done and give updates and pictures.

I had to get a catheter put in unfortunately….
I have my appointment tomorrow morning to get the drains removed and the catheter removed. I’ll give more details at a later date.
