Trouble inflating right cylinder

4 days post op I unexpectedly deflated. I noticed then that the right cylinder tip was lower than the left. I contacted my doc and was ok'ed to pump some fluid to smooth out the dog ears. Cylinder tips stayed in the same place. Since starting to cycle I have had problems getting the right cylinder to inflate. Tips have moved up in the glands. For the last week it has taken usually 3 attempts to get the right cylinder to inflate. I contacted my doc and he said to squeeze the release button harder. Today 5 attempts. Squeezed the hell out of the release button and am very sore in several places. No luck. Left cylinder works fine. Up until now I just figured it was a quirky pump and it would loosen up but it has worsened. I will try again tonight.

Anyone have this happen before?

You should communicate with Sam (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=72023). He has similar issue, and could help you.

Not working that way for me. Seems that as this is happening that the left cylinder tip is working to the outside as the glands are bending to the right. And when I get the right one to inflate it is working to the middle.

Thank you I will.

Tonight everything worked. And the tips are much better. Guess I had one of those WTF moments. Any way just want to let folks know. Read bunches about quirky pumps and reminded myself about it a number of times in the last almost 5 weeks but it pushed my buttons today. So easy to say relax and take it slow and easy. But after 5 weeks it is really getting tough. Setting around so much is bothering me also. Good times are ahead. If I can keep from going more crazy than I am.

Glad it worked well. Hope it keeps up. (pun intended).

Thank you. I really did well right after surgery. Then some bumps. Worried about that until cleared to cycle then more bumps right when I was cleared to have sex. Still working on those bumps and haven't been able to try it on my GF yet then another bump. Guess I'm healing much slower than me and the doc expected but the longer I take it easy is tough on me also. Been trying to find posts to reassure folks on and guess I was just trying to say it to me as well. Really need to be active again and get my body moving but guess I need to heal just a bit more also. Maybe I just need to think more in a 6 week to 2 month time frame than the 3 to 4 week one I have been on. Might keep my mind from thinking some else is wrong.

Take care.

My immediate thought was that you have a kink or blockage in the tubing. Nothing I have read so far has dissuaded me from the (preliminary) conclusion.

Your Doctor may be able to feel around to see if the tubing is routed optimally. It might take an ultrasound.

Even though it appears to be resolving, it is something I would insist on investigating. If a connector fails you will be in for an operation to fix it. Maybe a full revision. If tubing kinks enough to block fluid flow, it may weaken the tubing and lead to early failure.

Sorry to be the source of worry, but I believe it is better to know - the better to fix or mitigate any problems.

I have been in contact with my doctor that did the surgery. When it first started he advised squeezing the release button harder. Yesterday he advised shaking the pump and inflating back to 100%. I had for the last week been inflating to 80% as I had some soreness and bruising from 100%. He advised to that it would need several months before he would consider me returning if it has not resolved by then. I have a local uro that only does 2-3 a year and does no testing. I could spend $50 to see him but with him doing so few and not doing any testing I don't know how much help he would be. I did not trust him to do the surgery the first time.

I really wish I had a very good implant surgeon close to me. If there was one I would have used him/her.
