AMS 700 - new implant, girth question

I’m 3 days post op. Partially inflated for healing purposes. I have the AMS 700, but not sure which model. Anyway, based on partial inflation, I’m not where I was pre op in girth. I know length is what it is. But, will the girth go back to regular size when it’s fully inflated?

At 3 days post-op your penis is still very much stressed out from the surgery. It is very likely it will improve. For one thing when you heal more and can fully inflate it will probably fill out more. Also, if you had engorgememt prior to surgery, you will probably get it again when you are more stimulated.
My pre-op girth was 5” and it looked like that is what I was post-op, but when I was a month out and started actively cycling it became 5.25” just below the glans and 5.5” at the base. I am 7 months out and decided to stop measuring until my 1 year post-op anniversary so I do not know what my girth is now, but it feels like the the cylinders are beginning to expand as an AMS LGX is said to do, depending on my Penile tissues ability to stretch.
So, the moral of the story is patience. All should be well if you just give it time.

That is doubtful right now. Depending on what type of AMS you have, you may have to cycle twice daily every day (once you are able to start cycling at all) to stretch to gain your length and girth back. You should have been given a card with the serial numbers of the implant, reservoir and cylinder's on it. That should tell you if it's a CX or LGX or whatever.

It is too early to even think of inflating the cylinders. But once the doctor gives you the green light to start inflating and if you have the LGX which is what most doctors now days are using, it will get back to what you had before. You will notice the girth will be the first to expand, then the length with exercising will lengthen about half an inch. The cylinders putting pressure will eventually stretch things.
