) What FT did for me was education and information. Reading your posts and all the great information I received from our bionic brothers helped me to be better informed as to how everything works and what I should and should not expect. In visiting my three possible doctors as candidates for the implant, I knew exactly what to say and what questions to ask. They were impressed, as well as relieved that my expectations were in line with the reality of this procedure.For that, I thank all of you.
I'm in a hotel in NY today and tomorrow morning at 5:30, I'll check into the hospital to get my new dick. Am I nervous about the surgery? No. Only somewhat anxious/concerned if the result would be as well as sooooo many members said it'll be. Also a little concerned how to deal with having a surgery here and outside of my home turf of Washington DC. So far so good
I may spare everyone with a long drawn journal which may mostly include what others have, so elegantly, shared already. I will post from time to time if there's new development that may be new and/or helpful to others. If anyone has any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer, here or PM.
