What would you do?

Hey,

I was implanted a year ago with a AMS CX 18cm plus 3cm RTE.
I experienced a lot of swelling and after 2 weeks I could finally locate the pump but was unable to get it to drop into position. It hasn't dropped much since then. At my last appt, the doc said he could do a revision to lower it a bit more. I can still use the implant just fine, but wouldn't mind it a little lower.

The doc also mentioned that he could open me up and remeasure for additional rtes. He is able to increase size from 1 to 3 cm with a revision. If it was 2 or 3 cm, we could choose a larger implant. There is not any additional expense over just the pump revision. just need to cover my deductible for the year.

He also said that generally the recovery is much easier and quicker for revisions.
I'm at 5.75 inches in length and 6.25 if I push to pubic bone. Girth is 5.25 inches.

I don't want to lose anymore sensitivity with another surgery, but the thought of jumping to a titan for added girth is appealing. Another inch in length would be great, but I don't think that would happen. Anything less really wouldn't be that noticeable for my wife.

I'm holding off until fall if I decide to move forward. Too much to do this summer. Just thought I would throw it out for discussion. For those that have had revisions, what did you gain? What implant did you have and what did you move to?

Thanks

I wouldn’t go for a revision unless it is necessary. You’ll need a revision or revisions in the future.

How high is the pump? Where is it located relative to the base of your penis?

It may lower slowly by pulling down on it everyday.

Right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you switch to the Titan, you will NOT get any more length. The LGX is for length and girth expansion. Each time a revision is done you risk the chance of loss of sensitivity.
