Coloplast Cycling Pain and Concern...OUCH! Your experience?

Postby chuck123 » Fri Jun 29, 2018 7:10 pm

Started cycling Tuesday. Hurts like a bitch when I get near max. I endure the pain and push it to max while I winch for 20 minutes. The implant is hard as a rock but asymmetrical. Right cylinder is nice and full(looks perfect on this side), left cylinder is full at the base to mid shaft then tapers off to moderately full and curves slightly left. It curve left when flaccid too. It kind of conforms to my anatomy pre-op where "atrophy" occurred on the left side from mid shaft toward glans, the pain is where it tapers upward toward the glans. My doc said with 3-6 months of cycling it should be symmetrical; he is a good doc that does over 200 a year, I am not questioning his opinion.

Has anyone had a similar issue with asymmetry; cylinder not filling equally; did it correct itself? How was cycling for you? Has anyone asked for/or benefited from narcotics for cycling purposes? I am over 6 weeks post-op. Also I have trouble getting this to a completely flaccid state, any tips? On a more positive note I had some great sex.

I also have trouble getting my Titan to go down far enough. It's like I have a partial hard-on all the time. Not complaining,j just stating a fact. So much better than my old dick. IT WORKS. whenever wherever I want it to.

Chuck,
Your experience sounds familiar; I'm a year further on than you in recovery. Cycling hurt like buggery for about 7 weeks before subsiding. I've always had a slight curve to the left; it was more exaggerated with the implant at first, but has now settled down to pre-op alignment. My Coloplast has a definite fold in it when "flaccid", but I don't worry about it. Don't expect it ever to get floppy-soft as it was pre-op. You may prefer to leave it partially inflated all the time, for aesthetic reasons of course ;)

My experience was / is similar

Now three months in I find it more comfortable if it is always a bit inflated - with a Coloplast titan you will always look and feel well hung !

Now 3 months in the pain/soreness has disappeared, but 4 weeks ago I would not have believed that as it was still a bit sore in places and I was worried that it was not healing fast enough.

All been worthwhile - wish I did it years ago
