Coumadin / Implant glitch

Postby MARKOS2018 » Sat Dec 03, 2011 3:19 pm

My date for the implant is this coming Tuesday Dec 6, but I will be going in on Sunday because of my coumadin therapy that requires me to be off of it for 5 days before surgery. The other option I had would be to take Lovenex injections that I had to do on my own. My cardio and internist didn't cooperate with my implant doctor on this, so he thought best just to put me into the hospital and put me on Heparin IV.

I am more nervous being off the coumadin then the surgery on Tues. I don't like the fact I have to hang around the hospital for 2 days either. Doctor Eid has been "super" throughout this chapter of my life. He is doing everything for me to make it easy except providing me with a limo to Manhattan. We will take the subway early in the morning.

Thanks to all here that have contributed their experiences, because it will definitely east things with a little help from Xanax...and the other good stuff the doctor ordered....

Just hoping I have a good and "hard" package for my wife on New Years Eve! :D
Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
