I made a post about a week ago explaining my situation, withsex being my work I have now made an appointment with dr Kramer, but a question remains how long does the surgery scar last or have you guys noticed it?

When I went for my 4 week follow up appt I had two of the self-dissolving stitches left. My doc pulled them out and said aside from the fresh areas he had just pulled, I was pretty well healed. However, he advised me to wait one more week for active sex just to be sure everything was also well healed internally.
My incision was Penoscrotal and it was cut following a natural line in my sack so it is totally hidden. For guys with Infrubic incisions I believe the scar remains visible except for pubic hair covering it. I realize a lot of guys in porn either keep it smooth or trimmed short. In that case it may show.

With Dr Kramer, my scar was very small, maybe 2” or less. Mine was barely visible after 4 weeks except for the top stitch which took a little longer to dissolve. The scar tends to blend in with the natural wrinkles.

After 4 weeks, my peno-scrotal horizontal scar was difficult to see. After a couple of months I had to search to see it.

My doctor made his incision vertical, down the centre of my scrotum. After 4 weeks I challenge anyone to find it cause I can't and it's my bag and I know where it was.

Same here, Larry. Mine is completely undetectable (not that anybody's looking, least of all my wife).

Right, the wives are too busy choking on it to be looking for a scar.

jh2007, mine was penoscrotal with Dr. Kramer and could hardly be noticed by 3 weeks. He as do many surgeons, made the incision in the raphe which is the seam down the center of your sack. The younger you are and if you don't smoke, have diabetes under control if you have it, the faster you heal. I was 59 and have hiv and it healed great. Sending you a p.m. Cheers.
