Can guys tell me if they’ve had an implant w peyronies and how it went?
Specifically, how bad was the curve initially, any grafting at the time of surgery, which implant, scrotal or infrapubic, and final outcome? Thanks, tony

I had peyronies before implant don’t know the exact degree of the curve but it was bad painful to attempt sex. The implant fixed it completely. No curve at all I have to Coloplast Titan it was put in through scrotal. Now depending on curve sometimes it will not be completely fixed but implant either fixes it or straightens it out a lot.

Had a 15 degree right bend. Sex was still doable . Pubic entry. ams 700 lgx. 15 cn with 5 cn rte. When I pump solid it is straight. When 80% pumped it can be bent to right at center spot of the original bend, but cant be bent to the left at all. I am 5 3/4 long and 4 3/4 girth

I'm awaiting my implant surgery date. Have a diagnosis of complex Peyronie's with ED. Left-lateral curvature is 45 degrees and dorsal 80 degrees, according to measurements by my surgeon. Have been recommended the Coloplast Titan implant, and 'reconstruction' at the same time - which will most likely involve grafting in my case according to the surgeon. I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has undergone similar, not least as all this makes the surgery more complex (and time-consuming) which will inevitably have an impact upon recovery times.

I had suffered from ED for several years; however, pills did work most of the time. About a year and a half ago I noticed a slight curl upward when attempting sex. The pills were not working regularly at this time and as others have described it, I had a chubby rather than the erection you should have. Fast forward about a month and the curvature was at almost 90 degrees. With in the next month it was a little more than 90 degrees straight up and sex was impossible. I had all the usual symptoms that are associated with Peyronies.
My Dr was not pushy but spoke frankly about my choices and the decision I had to make. The options at this point were live without sex or inplant. Needless to say, I was devastated. He could sense my state of mind and wrote down the inplant he felt would be best and told me to go home and read about the surgery also I would know what I was in for if I choose inplant. I read everything I could find and after about 6 months went back to discuss surgery again. This time I was psychologically prepared and had my questions and concerns written down. He examined me again and explained the plaque, their location, reason why injection therapy likely would not work and the inplant he thought best in my case.
Surgery day...went to the hospital expecting about an hour or so surgery. Actually took a little more than two hours. In my case I was inplanted with the AMS 700 CX. Size and all or below. The surgery corrected the curvature to about 35 degrees immediately. He left me pumped tomabout 20 percent. I am two months post op and cycle the pump daily. The curve is has continued to straighten but slowly. I was concerned about more lose of lengthy. Overall I felt I had lost about 1”-2” in length due to Peyronies. I did regain some immediately and the deflated or flaccid state is much improved. I am told that over the next year I will continue to straighten and may regain my original size but more likely will loose about half an inch. Still an improvement over where I was with the Peyronies. Whe did not do any grafting but some molding was required. Google that.
The inplant saved me in my mind. This forum was instrumental. Good people here. I do not regret having the surgery at all. If I could do it all over and know what I know now, I would have done it sooner. Hope this answered some of your questions. Good luck!

I have a similar peyronies issue, in that the mass at the base of the penis is so dense that Dr. Goldstein believes it will be changeling to insert those 2 inches that go inside the body for support. He does not like RTE’s because he believes the connection point becomes another area susceptible to “buckling” (which is my issue now with TRIMIX) He said they do have surgery tools akin to a “drill” which can bore through the dense hard scar tissue, but how feasible that is, can only determined once they have you opened up and can see what they are up against. Is that what is being discussed here? Does anyone have experience with this sort of scar tissue obstacle (don’t mean to hijack thread…it’s just so similar to one I was going to make myself)
