Titan Auto Inflation - SOLUTIONS ???

I am semi-inflating. I roughly estimate it to be about the equivalent of 6 pumps. Even with the auto inflation it takes an additional 30 pumps to get my penis to maximum hardness.
I have some concern that because I was mistakingly not fully deflating for the first 10 days post op that the pseudocapsul is somewhat constricted. While it is not inflating to a full fledged errection it fills enough that at this stage it is difficult to comfortably point down. I actually awoke this morning with the idea of deflating and wrapping an ace elastic bandage around my penis to prevent refill and stretch the capsul around my reservoir.
I have heard some suggest that after deflating the Titan, they pump once or twice and this in some way prevents auto inflation??? That makes no sense to me since it seems that should reset the one way valve to allow saline to flow from reservoir to the cylinders.
Any thoughts, or any good Coloplast support contacts. I am also going to contact Dr. Eid
Thank to all.

this sounds totally typical and normal. I am the same way with coloplast titan 22 CM.
Over a year, things have in general loosened up -- meaning that my flacid is more flacid now (ie, no concerns about parading around the locker room).
Agree that auto-inflation was noticeable during the first year --- not really much of an issue, but I seem identical to your experience.
I Disagree that you should try doing a wrap --- but it will be great for you to tell us what Eid says. Being aware of the concept that you do not want a pseudocapsule around the reservoir is smart; however, fixating on concerns about the reservoir pseudocapsule seems "too obsessive" to me. (in contrast, a pesudocapsule in the penis cavernosum IS a problem to obsess about since that will impact length/girth- -- so it is important to pump to maximum during your first month or two to optimize the stretch)
If Dr. Eid gives you a specific cycling regimen, please let us know since we are interested how this is best done with Titan (cycling regimen with AMS is different, so I am told).

Not autoinflation for me. Only sqeezing with hand and deflate button. Not additional pump after deflating.

I have the Titian 22 and almost 5 months in. I have the classic pump and having issues with auto inflation. It is not a full erection but I could have sex with. Locker room issues, pain from being inflated for to long. Trouble sleeping because of pressure and sleeping on an erection.
Saw doc and he thinks it is a pump problem. Also have some on going pain from implant. I had a MRI and will get the results next week. Looks like at least a pump replacement, but will know more next week.

Not trying to make light of your issue. If it is an encapsulated reservoir, I wonder if they could snake a balloon catheter into the capsule between it and the reservoir laproscopically and stretch the capsule much like the dilate bladders and tracheas. Might save some major surgery. On the other hand, the valve should lock it out I would think but the auto deflate one touch bit has me thinking that system is made to lock open. Another reason I wish we all had access to the valve schematics of all the valves. One time I found one valve in a patent search a couple years back but never had time to examine it. Best wishes. In the mean time, use this:

Seriously the deflate and then pump 1 pump to close the valve from
open to reservoir position which would be the deflate position, to check valve operation from pump to cylinder makes sense. Have you tried deflate and I mean a good deflate, squeeze all you can out of the cylinders and perineal area, then pump it 1 pump? Several told me that fixed their 3:30 and 4 O'clocks they could never deflate all the way. I always do that with mine and no issue though Merrix says he does not need to. I have to agree with him in the needs no more respect as his fine cock on (page 45[?] of his thread looks fine enough to need NOTHING.
Where is that Swede? Merrix, could you weigh in? Cheers.

The reason you have to deflate the perineal area too is you likely have no tip extenders so their is fluid the that area to in near capacity as in your penis. When you stand up gravity puts that fluid in your penis. Full deflate is important. Over time it becomes less of an issue. Too many of us learned we never deflated properly or enough when we had issues. Please try that first sir. Cheers.

I deflat to a point that it feels empty. It does not matter if I pump once after deflation. It still inflates. It does not matter if I am sitting, standing or lying down. It does seem to get worse if I am exercising or moving around. It also seems to be more difficult to deflat as time goes by. I talked to my doc and got a second opinion and both believe it is an issue with the device.
I would like to believe that in 6 more months it will be better. Currently wishing I would have continued using injection.

I hope the guys who get mad at people who ask questions they think we should already know the answers to regarding auto inflation but I dont. I checked the archives. It seems everyone knows what auto inflation is but me. What exactly is it??

Most commonly, as the day goes on your implant keeps filling and getting harder and harder. Some implants it can be due to not locking out the valve on the pump. some could be pressure on the reservoir is squeezing the fluid back. Some possibly a malfunction. In older implants it was more of an issue than today I understand. Never ask, never learn. Always ask. Cheers.
