Post-op recovery

Hi guys,

First off; thank you all for Frank Talk - this has been a haven for me on my journey. I had my implant installed 3 weeks ago (August 7th); and have experienced the following that I'd like to share with you. Your opinions and insights would be most welcome.

Post surgery I have had a lot of pain - especially where the pump sits and pushes on the scrotum. It has been so painful to touch that I haven't been able to cycle until last Thursday (2 1/2 weeks post-op) and then it took me over 4 hours to deflate. When I went to the Dr +2 weeks to be deflated I almost passed out from the pain it was that bad.

Today is 3 weeks, and I thankfully that pain has reduced significantly that I am now able to cycle.

However, for the last week; and the ongoing pain/discomfort is what I can only assume is the actual discomfort of the hardware in the penis and around the groin. The best way to describe it is a constant razor burn.

Q: Did any of you experience this degree of discomfort; if so what was your experience.

The second followup is to do with the folds in the balloons - how do you guys manage this. For me; I find that keeping myself partially inflated seems the best. Are there other solutions?

Otherwise - I can't express how happy and exited I am with the results and have to constantly remind myself that this is only week 3 of post-op.

Thanks guys!!!

I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Most of my discomfort was in my sack for some reason. I only have one testicle, left, so there was plenty of room for the pump on the right side. My left testicle is quite large, about the size of a goose egg, so the sack is large, and sitting down from a standing position took a little doing. In a straight chair, I would sit on the edge so my sack would hang over the edge. Lying in a recliner was the best position. This lasted for about two weeks. I am 9 weeks out today and have no pain anywhere and everything works GREAT! Hang in there, it WILL get better.

There is no doubt the most of my pain was from the pump rubbing the inside of the scrotum lining and it was a constant burn but for me only lasted about 10 day fairly steady (except when in the tub or maybe spread eagle in bed) then off and on after that. At 3 weeks it is mostly gone.

Totally deflating the implant is important especially during the first few months so scar tissue does not constrict the reservoir and cause you automatic inflations from then on. When the Titan is totally deflated and the cylinders are new, the folds can be annoying but it improves as they soften. You can get some relief by gently repositioning yourself so the pressure points get some relief. My guess is that you can get away with a few pumps for a portion of the day but I would keep the penis deflated as much as possible.

i got my implant 7/24/18 so it has been 5 weeks one day so far.
when i woke up in the hospital the fist thing that went thru my mind was the doc did not put in the implant (AMS 700 MS ).
so i asked the nurse did i get the surgery and she yes you did.

i will tell you it did not hurt at all.
before surgery i thought i was going hurt bad so i was very surprised to feel nothing .

I got out the next day and found i was a little tender in a few places but not any thing i could not live with.
my sack and penis swelled up a day or two later to the point my wife made the remark (you look like your junk has been a train wreck)..
so as time went by a couple of weeks and every thing looks normal now as far as pain goes it never really hurt i have had head aches that hurt worse and now i can't tell i have an implant unless i grab my (new dick) and feel for it.

i have to goto the docs office on 8/31/18 to learn how to pump it up by the way the doc has a very pretty PA that works with me.
she is very gentle the doc not so much so i prefer her over him touching my stuff ..

P.S.
Kathy says she cant wait jump me we used to do it every day and then not at all for the last two years..
