AMS 700 question

I've was implanted March 9th of this year and have gotten pretty good with inflation and deflation. I do have a question about deflation... my manual says that my pump is a momentary squeeze which means that I squeeze the release button for about 3 - 4 seconds and it continues to deflate. Well mine doesn't do that. I have to hold the button down until fully deflated. I also have issues reengaging the pump as the valve seems to get stuck in the open position and just cycles the saline in and then back out. (I don't feel the "Pop"). Now I have been able to eventually get the "pop" to happen with several squeezes so I'm not too concerned but was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Mine would not always pop also. Now it does. Pumping twice a day since June. I do use a hot tub half the time. Everything is more flexible when warm. If you push your deflate button real hard you can feel a little pop. Then it will deflate fully without holding button. After you have deflated like that , first squeeze of the bulb , you will feel the pop. Note; after you deflate most of the juice and feel the buzz. Then press the deflate button real hard and you will feel it pop in.

I've never 'popped mine in'. When I want to deflate, I push the deflate button in. If I feel the 'buzz', I know the saline is returning to the reservoir. I push my dick in toward my body to totally deflate. Whether I totally deflate or not, a quick squeeze to the bulb 'pops' it resetting the pump.

What I do is hold down the deflate button for a few seconds until the buzz stops, then release the deflate button and squeeze/wring out the shaft while pushing toward my body. You'll hearing more buzzing as the implant drains down to maximum flaccidity. As for the inflation "pop": at times it won't pop right away, and that's usually because I'm not totally drained. I hit the deflate button, squeeze more saline out of the shaft, then hit the deflate button again...that usually works. I also do a valve reset on the deflation block occasionally by squeezing both square ends until the deflation block bends...that does a complete reset of the inflate/deflate valve...

"momentary squeeze" Yeah right. More marketing.

This is exactly the same for me.. you're right though, it's not what it says but, oh well, it works though.

If you don’t get the pop then push release button and squeeze your dick. That will reset the pump.

My pump is one touch for deflation. Wasnt always but it really needs a breaking in period. What i found is when deflating, press the button hard and hold for 3-4 seconds. You should hear and feel the buzz even when you let go. Mine deflates completely. I dont even have to squeeze out the saline. Another thing you guys can try is to reset the pump, press the blocks from the sides and squeeze. That is something i learned on FT to reset the ams pump. Hope this helps.

I have had good luck with my urologist's instructions to hold the deflate button down while counting to about 7 slowly (like with "Mississippi" or something in between the numbers). Then I keep the button down while I squeeze the last little bit out of my penis with my hand in an open fist over it.

March 9 is my wedding anniversary. I hope that does not mean we are married. My wife would be upset. I have to hold mine several seconds and penis squeeze too if I want a decent deflate. From others I've communicated with, it is not uncommon. The HARDER I press the button, the better and faster it seems to work but the tiny button is difficult to press hard. In an "instant" world, 3-7 more seconds is not that big of a deal for a works on demand dick. I'll take that any day. Cheers.
