The night before my surgery I ved and flaccid measured 6.5 inches plus. So far my most consistent fully pumped length is 5.75 inches. So they measured 23 cms took 1 off for proximal and 1 off for distal and gave me a 21 cm implant just as the many videos and etc show. The medical journals consistently claim that there is no loss in length and that it is just a case of fat pad miss measurement of faulty memory. I assure you that this is not the case here. Did any of you measure yourself before surgery and how did that compare to your after results? Thank you for your honesty.

You cannot compare VED measurement and post op measurement, as the VED length is even bigger in men with normal erections (hence used as a temporary length and girth increasement "toy").

I've had 22 surgeries. Some were to prolong life and maybe did. Some were to improve my quality of life. Few did. What was consistent in 75% of them was the doctor would tell my wife and I he was going to do one thing and then I would awake after surgery to find out he did exactly what he would say he never will and the student doctor or nurse would explain he did it that way because it was quicker. That distrust feeling is why I cancelled a surgery for the 19th last month and may cancel one the 17th this month. Add to that 3 doctors now who stated they will not put anything in writing. Dr. Kramer does not have this issue. As far as I can tell, his word has been good and he has no problem with an email but out of all the doctors I've had over the decades, he is one of few. Most doctors and surgeons are used car salesmen now in my opinion. They are only interested in selling their product. They do not care if they sell a clunker, only that there is another customer coming in the door to bait into the next sale.

DougAnd & Torless50, both of you are possibly unintentionally dispensing misinformation.
As I said before, any great surgeon WILL promise you a minimum length that you will have after surgery. To prevent sniping about semantics, I will add ** provided you follow post-surgical directions and do not fall in the 1% or less that get an infection and fate does not strike you dead.** I have never seen a patient of Dr. Eid's that did not get what they were promised.

Next, the fat pad does not factor in because a high volume implant specialist will do a bone-pressed stretched length and a bone-pressed induced erection length.
Finally, that length will be less than a VED length because a VED can engorge your glans to the point it is about to explode (far beyond any natural erection) and blood will be drawn through to the surface of the skin (petechiae). Measuring a post-op penis with no sexual arousal and no engorgement of the glans and comparing it to a penis under vacuum in a VED is crazy.

If you engorge your implanted penis with blood from, Viagra, sexual stimulation (assuming you get glans engorgement from arousal), or by putting your inflated penis in a VED to engorge the head will give you another potential 1/2".

Torless50, I am interested to know what your mistrust is based on. Do you have any data to share with us that establishes you will lose length or are you just randomly throwing our wild guesses based on nothing? Dr. Eid has given every patient I know of at least what he promised, including me. Several on this forum have as much or more than they had during their preop visit. He is not the only one by far. Finally, no surgical implant alone is going to add inches you lost a decade ago, and none is going to give you the dick of your imagination.

I don't agree. It happens some times, but I have regained both my original (pre-prostatectomy) length and girth. And I'm not the only guy whose has had this happen.

I lost a lot of length following Prostatectomy surgery. After my implant surgery I gained all of it back. My penis size now at close to one year post-op is larger unpumoed than my original lifelong size and fully pumped as getting very close.

I have mentioned to you before, as have others, that your surgery was way too recent to know what your size will end up being. You aren’t doing yourself any favors by getting all fired up about this when you aren’t even fully healed and you certainly are not helping new guys who are reading your posts and getting misleading information.

It all depends on the surgeon. Like I have posted before that I was short changed on my first implant, but I was still happy with a seven inch erection. I was just happy to even get an erection since I had not had one since my prostrate was removed. Fifteen years later I had the revision and the nurse told me it was 18cm plus rte, but how many she did not say and I really did not care. It is what it is and I would post some pictures, but I think that is against the law to show your genitals over the internet. But man I am a happy camper with what my revision gave me. I got a full eight inches erected and around seven flaccid. I did tell the surgeon before I had my revision not to short change me like the first operation I had. He done a great job. Everybody is happy with my size.
