I had my implant on sept 23 2011 Have had a long time with the healing ,but I seem to be getting there not as fast as I would like ,but ever day seems to be better.
I finally inflated a few days ago no pain but the top and bottom of my penis r flat I hope this improves with time.
Any one else with this problem?

Mine was really flat for the first few months too (kind of freaked me out). Now at 11 months, it seems like its rounding out nicely.

Yes, I am more oval now rather than round. I know it, I see it, but it doesn't seem to bother my wife or our ability to have sex. Her teeth catch the sides now and then, though.

in most cases, if you have had implant surgery only and were NOT a prostate cancer suvivor, chances are that your natural blood flow to the Corpora Spongiosum (bottom of your penis around the urethra) and your GLANS (head of the penis) will get a natural blood flow back after a given amount of time. Mine returned 6 months after surgery. This was a very nice added bonus to the new implant and the ability to get really hard. The bloow usually flows when I'm very excited and in the thick of things and not there when I first inflate. I have heard of it taking up to 18 months to return. This will, once again, make the penis a more natural round shape. Hope it works out for you as well.

I have been told by an implant surgeon that the AMS product line tends to result in a flatter erect penis, and the Coloplast Titan, a rounder one. This is from a Dr that recommends the Titan. I can't vouch for this one way or the other.

Three months post implant. AMS CX. Was extremely flat initially. A little difficult for my wife in the beginning. She quickly got used to it and as I've said the hardness and duration out weighs any minor changes in size/shape. To answer your question, I have seen a little roundness return but not back to pre surgery yet.
