Deflating on own...

I don't know if anyone has experienced this but would sure appreciate an answer. I'm nearly 3 months since surgery of Titan. I've been faithfully doing my daily 15 min inflate/deflate and some extra times as well. When I pump it up I usually pump it as far as I can go and as the doctor told me, feel some pain but not excruciating pain. So that's what I do. Lately, I'll pump it as much as I can and there's no more solution to pump. Then a half hour later I can go back and pump quite a bit of solution, easy 5-6 pumps again. I thought the erection would hold longer than 1/2 hour. I'm concerned and don't see the doctor until 1/9/2012. Anybody had this experience?

Terry, could it be that your initial full pump refused to accept any more solution as the tubes were full, and over a few minuted expanded the tubes just enough to receive more saline solution? I experience a little softening from a full pump after a few minutes, but I am not alarmed by this. Do check with you MD, of course. Hankthedog/ariadne

Not sure...I can rule out a leak; it wouldn't pump it up to an erection otherwise. I have a real tangle of tubes in the scrotum right under the base of the penis to the point I can feel the individual tubes. I don't know if this is the way everybody elses tubes feel or are located but maybe mine shifted? Heck if I know but I'm definitely going to ask. I'm still pretty early in my healing and all of this may be part of that process. But like you said, best keep the doc informed.

Welcome to the world of constant inflation. This can and should be a very fun time. Did you check my double-handed inflation discussion here at FT? I also find a bit more luck with pumping while resting in a bath tub or even in a shower letting the warm water run down my stomach and onto my ball sac. Gravity seems to play a factor during early inflations. At first, I could only pump just so far and also wondered if there was a problem, had run out of saline solution, etc. It all takes time. As you learn your daily (bi-hourly or even hourly for some) routine, you'll start to learn when and how to pump, when to pump "more" and how much to pump at once. I often do pumping slowly. If I'm inflating just to do it for required inflations, I give it 8 or 10 at a time. I have an LGX and I think they take a bit more pumping than a Titan from what I've been told. I allow time for the pump head to refill again and then squeeeeeze it again. I have to admit that in the one year (Dec. 28th 2010) since my implant, my arms have gained quite a bit of strength. The double-handed inflation method also helps to keep the arms even in size, as opposed your favored arm growing because of the constant pumping. Another general rule of thumb is for when you're ready for penetration... Give it 5 or more squeezes just before reporting for duty! The very VERY most important thing is that you WORK YOUR PENIS. Make sure that the chambers do not freeze up around the growing scar tissue. I generally pull the skin of my penis towards my body and then out and back in again and repeat, making sure that the head gets good and exercised with the chambers intact. It's important to keep all of this working smoothly, especially in the first 6 months. Afterwards, you'll feel the scar tissue become solid and will be very glad that you have been doing your exercises very diligently. Plus, it starts to feel "really good" after a very short while of healing. This is the "good" type of exercising.
