My Experience

Honestly don't know if this is going to be a journal or not but I had my surgery Tuesday (10/16/18) and here are some of my experiences to share.

A little bit background. My ED got gradually worse over years:
- At first pills helped but for long time not sufficiently
- Tried trimix and not satisfactory and so painful
- Testosterone even high levels (with balanced estrogen levels) not helping
- PT-141 actually probably best but worried about long term effects and definitely messing with vision
- Tried gainswave with no noticeable impact
- Tried VED, erection rings etc

The problem has been capability to maintain erection, I could get it up and hard but not to maintain it. I was most of the time able to penetrate successfully (also anally) if holding the penis. I have, however, had vey active sex life and I can't think any noticeable shrinkage during the years.

As I suspected, doppler (by Dr Eid) revealed VL is the cause of my ED. I asked him if the diagnosis (VL) is 100% sure and after he said yes and confirmed implant is the only solution, I knew what needs to be done.

The size has never been an issue for me and I have never been very eager to measure my penis so I don't know if it was bigger or smaller years ago. The pre-op measurements made by Dr Eid are 7.28" (18.5cm) length and 7.09" (18cm) girth. He said that it is probably thickest he has measured and immediately said I will loose some girth, and honestly I don't see it as a problem, and my GF was relieved as I thought my girth would increase. Some times I was able to fill the whole vacuum pump (the scale in pump about 21cm (8.27")) but that was not a natural size at any time. Dr Eid also said that Coloplast Titan is the only possibility because of the size and he said we go with 24cm one.

My surgery was this Tuesday, it was done under spinal anaesthesia, scheduled time was 1030AM. Everyone at the hospital were super nice and supportive. I got discharged at about 330PM and got home around 630PM. I am very happy that I took medication with me as the pain, or more precisely discomfort started to kick in on way to home.

I was implanted with Titan 24cm with one 1cm RTE (my dick was pointing a little sideways). I think Dr Eid said after the implant was in that it was 14.5cm (5.7"), but can't say for sure, I was quite sedated at that time....

I am big baby with pain and after I got home I set a schedule to take one Percocet (hydromorphone 2mg) every 4 hours and one 600mg ibuprofen every 2 hours after each percocet. First night and day I surely started feeling the pain at the end of the window for taking new percocet. With all horrors of opioids I want to minimise time on percocet and last one so far was on second night after the surgery. After it I have taken tylenol instead of it and I have only had minimal pain/discomfort.

So far this has been going really good and I can't thank Dr Eid and his staff enough.

I can barely wait till tomorrow morning to remove the catheter and start cycling. My plan is to take one percocet about 45min before so I would be able to inflate as much as possible and keep it inflated maximum time. What is your experience and recommendation for the first inflations/start of cycling?

Another Eid success story. Bravo. He was my first choice but I could not afford the plane and etc. Please keep us informed on your growth. Did he say to start cycling on day 2? I find it refreshing that he actually told you what size implant he would use before the operation. Most on this site think that is impossible to do. And then he did exactly that. In spades! Most uros try to make that a big secret so that their patient will not freak out when they shrink them for no reason.
So unlike the rest of us you came right out of the door at over 5" Impressive, Most impressive. Well you know the rest. I am very interested in seeing how long it takes you to regain you 7+ inches can private message me if you want to. Thanks

Start cycling day 3; Tuesday surgery, Wednesday, Thursday healing, Friday removal of catheter and start cycling. Sorry that i was unclear.
On the size of implant, yes that was what he said after caverjet injection, and measuring. And he was very clear and open that I would loose some girth. He added the RTE on the time of the surgery.

My dick looked different when he showed it after the surgery at operating room that is for sure and I am pretty sure he said 14.5cm but as I said I can't be sure about that. After it I haven't seen my dick , tomorrow.....

Amazingly now I have no pain whatsoever ( 2nd day after surgery) and I haven't had any pain medication in last 5 hours or maybe even longer. So far couldn't be happier.

Just removed catheter, did not inflate yet as I got very uncomfortable. To deflate titan, how hard you need to push? I was able to feel the pump and section for deflation but I wasn't able to feel the small deflate button.it is pretty sore at the balls.

To deflate Titan, you have to press firmly on deflate button and hold it.
After a few seconds you will feel fluid wuzz sound and depressurization of your cylinders.

Thanks, I was able to deflate and inflate a bit.
The pressure needed seems to be so much more than I was expecting and way more than for the dummy pump. I just called dr Eid to ask if that is normal waiting for the call back.

I pumped only little bit and pain was around the pump not in the dick.

While some seem to come out with exactly the same length or even a minor amount of length lost.

Is that length of yours expected to recover because I was under the impression Titans don’t have the capability for further expansion.

Can someone clear up typical size expectations post op for me please?

Again my post OP measurement was in the operating room and seems that that was how I was sent home. I expect to have roughly same length and decent girth when completely healed.

The size seems to be the main concern here for many guys. I am more concerned about how it feels for me and for my GF, especially for her. She was always able to make me cum and give me earth shaking orgasms, but was I able to return the favor? No, not with my monster dick, the dick that she needed to suck like a vacuum and hope she can ride on it for a bit before it goes to limp. I want to be able to fuck her thousand times better than when I was 30 years younger. She is 20 years younger than me (and no I did not know her when she was underage).

I think my dick will not look as good as it did with raging hardon, no veins around etc. But to be able to concentrate on her without fear of dick going limp, and to touch her instead of keeping hands on my dick. That's what I expect, that's why I did it. I believe that would make me also to enjoy more and feel better. I don't need 7+ inch girth, surely I hope I get to 6+ inch length. If I don't - I think that won't make me feel any less good and I will work to make it great for her. Isn't that what the implant is all about?

I only asked because length loss of that rate, certainly with a surgeon of Eid’s stature is, from what I’ve read, unusual.

Most men seem to leave with minimal length loss.

Also, you were extremely big. For us closer to average lengths, a 2 inch loss is a bitter pill to swallow.
