Anyone know how much it would cost out of pocket? Do the manufacturers help with the cost? Also, interested with Tariq Hakky, how much would it cost with him?

Cheers

Dr. Hakky did my implant in December 2017. He had a cash price of $18,000.

I am delighted with my implant.

What was your experience like? How long did it take you from the moment you made the decision got in contact with them and went through with the surgery?

Sleepless,
I saw Dr. Hakky about the first week of November for my initial consultation. I believe I had one or two additional visits with him. I was required to see a cardiologist to confirm my heart was ok for surgery.

I received my implant on December 20. Merry Christmas.

I did not pay cash for my implant, but I want to mention you should confirm whether or not you will incur other charges. There is the doctor’s fee, the implant itself, hospital expenses, drugs, anesthesia, etc. the price a doctor says may not be inclusive of all the rest. Better to find out in advance than to get a big surprise later.

My cost was 24K and included everything with my surgery and a single office visit prior to surgery and one hotel visit post op to release me for travel home. On top of that I paid for travel and lodging, and to have the preop certification done with my family doctor. Insurance paid for most of the preop certification testing.
