Is the length of your penis supposed to feel smooth?

I have a 700 LGX and had significant scaring from peyronnies. When I pump up and feel along the sides of my shaft I feel the various girth changes and is slightly resembles what i looked like before the implant. Does anyone know if these ridges for lack of a better word eventually smooth out and will my penis become uniform in girth? I recall my doctor saying it was pushing against the peyronnies tissue.

Even when soft I guess I am feeling the tissue of the peyronies disease. It feels hard and affects the girth of my penis in the area where the peyronies is. I am thinking the Dr thinks in time it will be able to break through it or something.
